My husband is so understanding as we do our genealogy, plus stopping at cemeteries to fulfill photo requests for other people. |
I retired in 2007 from Nebraska Educational Telecommunications Commission, Lincoln, Nebraska. My husband retired after 20 years in the U.S. Army and then from Nebraska Corrections. After our retirement, we moved to my hometown in south central Nebraska.
If you find any mistakes, want additional information or an obituary added, please send the suggestion through the edit tab on the memorial and I will revise &/or add the information. Since many volunteers create memorials that aren't relatives, it makes it much easier if we don't have to go "hunting" for the memorial you are referring to.
A BIG thank you to all of the fellow findagravers that add my suggestions, and, especially, the obits so that many individuals can benefit from them on their search.
Please consider any pictures that I have taken as yours...I am the messenger and believe that they belong to the family.
Families I am have researched & continue to research:
My biological family = Hewgley, Glancy, Metz, Waterman, Lyman, Eley, Reed, Drennan/Drennon/Drenan/Drenon
My adopted family = Bargen, Green, Demilt, Whiteley, Allen, Lyman, Power, Shaw
My husband's family = Duey, Norlund, George, Wolf, Cornman/Corman, Burgess, Call, Kent, Elder, Pfaff,
My ex-husband's family = Uhrmacher, Tanner, Bunde, Huckfeldt

Peggy, you are welcome. I just started doing this, and am curious as to who is asking for these pictures. Are these all relatives of yours? Are all of the requests at Find A Grave always relatives? Thanks!
|Gerry Jean||RE: Annie Eckelman|
If you'd bother to look to see where both Annie & Frank are buried, you'd see that they're interred together. The fact that Annie's name is not inscribed is beyond my control. I'm e-mailing you the Holy Cross data base (sfgenealogy.com) entry for Annie & Frank.

Jim Holloway from Tennessee & I went to Brown Cemetery yesterday...We're trying to get a crew together. Would you be up for a workday next April, May or June? We can use all kinds of help and will be trying to get equipment in there to reset some stones on bases. I am putting a few photos on memorials there from those that we cleared. Julie

You are welcome. I did not realize that there were two Paul Hatfields. I am not sure if the baby has a marker or not I am guessing that he does not there are a lot of umarked graves in this cemetery most are in the County section (14). I will have to check this out now because my curiosity has been piqued. Once again i apologize for the error and thank you for letting me know.
Best to you,
I was able to transcribe the German for Johannes Wolf b.1770-1824 and I tried for Margaret. I did get some of it, but there are few words I just can't make out.I don't know if you are interested in what I did get and if you can figure out the rest. I am not proficient in German and when they do the fancy writing, forget it. Two years of high school only get you so far. When I looked at your husband's line, I must be missing someone to connect the Duey's. Because there are so many duplicates and I tried merging people on ancestry, it sometimes messes up and I lost some entries I think. So many brothers and sisters marrying their spouses other brother or sister etc.

Your Welcome! I will be back at Maple Grove soon if you have any other requests. I also had some photos that did not have memorials made. I just posted about six hundred pictures, so my next project is to add memorials and attach the rest of the pictures to those. I am hoping to have that done by the end of tomorrow.

You are more than welcome. If there's any more memorials I've posted that you'd like just let me know, always glad to put them with family.
|TurningHearts||RE: Levi Ringwalt|
I am a Diller and Ringwalt family genealogist.
No, this is not my direct line, but I am interested in knowing where the Duey comes from.
Looking on Ancestry, I cannot tie in the Duey name yet.
Levi Bull Ringwalt and Catharine Swigert Duey had
the following children:
Jacob B or Jacob D Ringwalt (1846-1891)
David Lewis Ringwalt (1847-1928)
Levi Amos Ringwalt (1849-1889)
Josepth Ringwalt (1852-
Hester Ringwalt (1854-
Mary M. Ringwalt (1857-1895)
Charles W. Ringwalt (1859-
Nora Kate Ringwalt (1867-1867)
So, Charles and Kate on the headstone, would be their children.
If you ever tie in the Duey name let me know and
I will do the same.

Just found his marker and want to thank you for your hard work, its amazing how many you have done. Was wondering how you are connected to William Thomas Clark. I am his great granddaughter. My fathers, mothers father. Sorry for my grammer.

Hi...at this time I will not be transferring any people from Garden of Memories. I have a ton of relatives buried there and I don't know all of them yet. After I find out if they are related, and they are not, I will be happy to transfer. In the meanwhile, I will be happy to add any info that you would like to the memorial.
