I have been taking photographs at cemeteries for a long time - of family members - from Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa and Wisconsin. Ever so gradually I will enter them on Find-A-Grave. Currently, I am compiling a genealogy story of the Olsen family that moved from Denmark to southern Nuckolls County, Nebraska, so have a lot of graves photographed at Spring Creek Cemetery. I will try to enter those photos first.|
Once at a cemetery, I photograph as many stones as I have time. Here in KS most are not related to me. If you come across one that you want to claim, let me know and it can be changed.
My family lines include: Burdick, Davis, Williams, Greene, Walker, Carpenter, White, Owens.
My husband's family lines include: Jorgensen, Olsen, Petersen, Riber, Frederiksen, Jeppesen, Iversen, Nielsen, Waggensen, Klitten, Christensen, Christiansen, and the list goes on.

Yes, it is sad when no headstone exists! Glad to be of help though!
Jean, I added all photo's in the Standerford Cemetery that I have.
I do not have any for Lydia Ayers, Jacob Babcock or Willie Davis.

|Ken Snyder||Charles Wheeler at Prairie Union Cemetery|
We went to Prairie Union today to look for markers and one of the ones we were seeking was your request for "Charles Wheeler." We did not find a Charles Wheeler, but we did find a Carlie Wheeler (2/1/1869-8/27/1870). I had entered a memorial for Carlie Wheeler last year from the record book at the cemetery. I'm thinking that your Charles and my Carlie are one and the same. The age is almost exactly 1 year and 7 months and the years match. Do you want me to post the pictures I took on the memorial you have for Charles? I think your Charles is really Carlie and is a girl, not a boy. If you agree that they are the same, I will delete my memorial. Let me know. Ken

I am up date on my edits. Do you have additional information to add to the Cottrells memorials? You can make a virtual cemetery.
To create a virtual cemetery, go to your contributor tools(left hand column after logging in). Once there click on the edit button across from "my virtual cemeteries". Then you will be able to add a new virtual cemetery or edit any that you have already created. Once you have created a virtual cemetery it will show up in your contributor tools. Go to the memorial that you would like to add to your virtual cemetery. Underneath the memorial's burial information is a link that says "Edit Virtual Cemetery" and "What's this". Click on "Edit Virtual Cemetery" and it will bring you to your list of virtual cemeteries. There is a box next to each virtual cemetery that you have created. Check the box(click the mouse on it) on the virtual cemetery you would like to add this memorial to and then click "save changes". This will add the person to that virtual cemetery.

Thanks for locating Nellie's gravesite. It is too bad there is no gravestone, but thank you for the photo you posted. Your time & effort are greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the obit. From your email, it appeared that you wanted your name as the contributor, so I added it to the memorial. If you would like it removed, please let me know and I will do so right away. Thanks again.

Glad the photo was helpful! I'm visiting family in Alfred, not far from the cemetery. We're not Seventh Day Baptists, but we're familiar with the churches' rich history in the community here.
All the best,
