I live in a small Nebraska town. I have family and friends buried in several Nebraska cemeteries and also some buried in the very northeastern part of Montana. I love visiting cemeteries and looking at the grave markers. I also LOVE to take pictures!!! Please let me know if I can help you get the pictures that you need!!|
Also, in the Fairmont/Geneva area, I go by the name of Mary instead of Marietta.

I am a Vermont Civil War buff, and am presently working on a project to identify the last resting places of many of our "old soldiers" that had ties to Vermont. I have found a couple, Joseph Tatro and Xerxes Stevens that you have contributed photo's for their Find A Grave Memorial pages; there may be others I haven't discovered yet. I am asking you if I may use these photo's to post on the Vermont Civil War site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org)
You would receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.
|Bob Anderson||Grace Lucille Curtiss - Geneva|
Mary, I just discovered Find A Grave, and also just discovered your information on Grace Lucille Curtiss. This was very welcome news and information for my wife (Sandra V. Curtiss-Anderson). Grace Lucille Curtiss would be an aunt to my wife, if she had lived. I have spent many hours trying to find information on the infant, with no success to date. The directory at the entrance to the cemetery does not list her, nor do the records of the cemetery that we have examined. All the other Curtiss' that are known to my wife are listed there. We have suspected that Grace may have been buried next to her parents in an unmarked grave and your information confirms this. Some years back we met a local woman at the gravesite, who claimed that she could located unmarked graves with divining rods, and she was of the opinion that there was an unmarked grave just to the left of the parents graves, in what is now a side street of the cemetery. Your information confirms this. We both are very pleased to be aware of your information. Thanks very much and please feel free to contact me if you would like any Curtiss information that we have, that you might not be aware of. Bob Anderson. Lincoln, Nebr.

Thank you very much for getting these pictures for us.
|Jeff Blakley||Mrs. Goodrich|
I've been working on identifying the women in a group photograph taken on the steps of the Lodge at Royal Palm State Park (now part of Everglades National Park) that includes a "Mrs. Goodrich". This is part of a project to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the dedication of the Park on November 23, 1916. It took me many, many hours of research to find out who she was and I was so very fortunate to then find your memorial, with her obituary. That confirmed what I had previously discovered. Thank you so much! If you'd like a copy of the photograph, go to the Florida State Archives at this URL:
Mrs. Goodrich is #18.

Would you be able to help me? I somehow managed to place my cross with a note on his memorial page twice. Would you be able to remove one or tell me how to? Thank you!
Hi - I am wondering if there is a problem with the linking of Charles' parents, since Charles was born in 1888, and it shows parents Frank and Anna born in 1880, and 1889, respectively - maybe they are his siblings? Thank you for looking into this.
Have a blessed day,
ps - I tried to send an edit through the "edits", however, the captcha would not let me go farther...I have not had problems with them before when trying to submit edits, but for some reason did today!

Thank you Mary for the transfer; I will take very good care of her!!!!

He would have been my Uncle Levi Peter's brother. Not blood related to me.

I assumed they were typos from an obituary. There was a Parm which should be Pam, a Maxin which should be Maxine, a Jusdy which should be Judy and a Braum which should be Braun. Sister-in-lay should be sister-in-law. This was for Find A Grave Memorial# 88110966
