Bio Photo Hi,
I enjoy riding to and walking around cemeteries (as I am sure everyone here does), I have really enjoyed going back to Pennsylvania and West Virginia and photographing ancestors headstones.

I am hoping to photograph as many cemeteries in the Jefferson co., WI area in my free time. I have been working on Rock Lake Cemetery in Lake Mills, Wi. I take photos of the stones, then go through the memorials here and enter and or correct whatever I can. If you have any additional changes or corrections, or you would like to manage a specific memorial, let me know.

I don't mind if anyone uses my photos, that's why they're there. Just don't claim you took them.

Found an article in the Kenosha Civil War Museum that I believe is very interesting regarding Oscar! I added it as a photo to your memorial. Sorry it didn't turn out very well. If you do not want it in your memorial please feel free to remove it. If you are unable to let me know and I will.

RE: Solomon Harper
I am familiar with that source, but she is inaccurate. Philip Harper 1712-1798 is the son of Adam Harper, but Adam is NOT the son of Michael Harper. The church records in Germany do not show the parents of Adam. See our website at: and go to the genealogy section. These Harpers are NOT related to Matthew and Hans Harper in Augusta County.

the other names associated with this person are her parents--joesph & luria Udey--rock lake. all the people in the udey plot are her famiy. We suspect she is buried with them, in an un-marked grave. this was a 12 plot section purchased by her father. When she died, her nephew claimed the body. She was the Mother of 9 children, so some of the children may be buried in these un-marked graves. These people had no money. Could have been a co. burial? There are a set of babies and a 16 yr.old boy not accounted for. Only 5 of the 12 graves are marked as occupied. Her Mother Luria was the last Person who died--1916--before Verna--1925. So I would guess She would be next to Her. Check it out! S.E.

Mike: Send me a note to my email. I am going through a 'do-over' on some of my research and need to know if there is any info about Sarah Jane's parents. Thanks! Erika

dear grave rider, for a very long time we have been looking for the grave of the women listed above. Her parents are buried at rock lake, lake mills wi. You are listed as the person taking charge of these graves. In 1925 she was buried here. no burial permit! Her father joesph purchased, a plot with 12 graves. they were not all used. She's in one of them, no marker. This could have been a co. burial. do You know anything about this? could this permit be located? She died in burlington,wi. Her mother luria was buried in 1916, the last one in the plot before Her. She also had several children die, could they be in what appears to be un-used plots? Let Me know if You have any info on these people. sharon l. erickson
