Bio Photo Born in Killeen, Texas, Live between Johnson City and Dripping Springs, Texas.
A US Army Viet Nam Veteran, served three years, ninteen months in Thailand Signal Corp. Spent 37 years as a teacher and swimming coach, working in Austin, just out of the University of Texas in January 1974, Weslaco, Corpus Christi, Houston, and the last ten years in Laredo, Texas (2001-2011).
Just getting started in FAG and am excited about what I can do for others looking for ancestors and relatives.
My goals in using Find A Grave are to bring in depth ancestry to all my relatives that are memorialized on Find A Grave.
I am not into NUMBERS of memorials I establish. When looking at cemeteries where my family members are buried, I do try to record memorials when I find some headstones, in some cemeteries, that are not memorialized on FAG.
I have taken photo requests, but have found that those requests were not found in the cemeteries in my area of Texas.
I am also handicapped due to lack of high speed internet where we live. I use the Dripping Springs Library to upload photos and perform most of my Ancestry and Find A Grave work.

RE: Triple murder in Georgetown
I have no idea if it is the same person, but sounds likely. Memorial managers should us their own discretion about posting any information I send. Some don't but most do.

Best regards,

Sue

I re-read your other msg to me ... your wife was one of his step-children, so yes I guess he was married more than once. (duh, on my part! been a long hot week)

RE: Slayden Leslie aka Martinez
I had added a note last night to pg of Slayden Sr. Maybe someone will see it and know something.

I find his possible name change highly odd. If he changed it, it was after the birth of his 2 daughters. Was he married more than once? This story makes it sound like he might have been.

Slayden Leslie aka Martinez
ANY idea as to when he might have died? The name "Robert/Bob Martinez" is a dime a dozen!

Was his name legally changed, or just something he did himself?

Need any and all clues to help find him I think.

RE: James Leslir photo
I do use Ancestry.com for researching and entering most data for my LAMM tree. Church records for that era are usually the most helpful, at least are for PA, from where I originated & the state with which I have the most research experience. Most all people were affiliated with a church in the 19thC. Also, there are online death certificates for PA, but only from 1906-1963. Pennsylvania’s Department of Health started keeping statewide death records on January 1, 1906.
I'm not sure which death records are "out there" for the TN county research you want. Our PA county of Berks has online records for births, deaths, marriages, wills. etc. These are just references to the event; you must go to the county office to obtain the actual record.

I'm located in Monroe County; not sure where Rutherford is located. TN is a long state like PA, both w/lots of Counties with varied ways of allowing "public" information.
Best regards,

You're quite welcome. It's very rewarding to go in our beautiful outdoors and do volunteer work that might be helpful to other families.

McLeans
I transferred management on several McLeans but I kept Marshall M and Emma as they are my husbands great, great grandparents. I went ahead and transferred William since there are so many siblings that you might be connected to, also.

RE: THE ANGUS R. MACDONALD FAMILY MEMORIALS
Mr. Watson,
I am so sorry I have not made the edits that you requested. I have been working long hours and have not been on Findagrave in a few weeks so I did not notice the edit requests that were listed. I did go in and make quick edits that I received through email when possible but just didn't notice the edits on the findagrave page.
I am going to transfer the McDonald family to you since they are your relatives and they deserve to have a loved one watching over their memorial.
I am so sorry for my error,
Connie
