Thomas Bay photo
Hi, Julia!

You took a photo and placed it on the Find-A-Grave Memorial for Thomas Bay # 38944031 showing the two headstones for this man. We would like to include it in our U.S.D. 1812 chapter yearbook. May we have your permission, please?

Thank you.

Becky

RE: Lucinda
Isn't genealogy fun? Name confusions just add to the challenge! Glad that we have the two Cowger families now in place!

Lucinda Cowger Braden
I see what concerned you, Julia. There were TWO Jonathan and Sarah Cowger marriages! Lucinda's mother was Sarah Downey Cowger! I have made the correction on Lucinda's memorial. J.

The 1880 US Census of Competine, Wapello Co., IA clearly recorded Jonathan and Saran Cowger with their DAUGHTER Lusinda (sic). Originally the parental information was supplied by a descendant, but the census certainly is proof. JKA

Benjamin F. Berry
By the way, I posted a memorial for Benjamin F. Berry #153858541 last night, Henry R. Berry's father. When we were in Coffeyville, we could not find his tombstone even though we knew he was buried in Elmwood as per his newspaper death record, but I did post the couple photo of him and Elizabeth. You might recognize it from Flickr where it was posted before.

Hello, Cousin!
I don't know too much about Tacy's earlier life either. I did exchange some information with a woman, can't remember her name at this exact moment, who gave me some information about Tacy's maternal side of McCloud. I'm working on several posts at the moment on our genealogy blog, like one abt. the Daltons in Coffeyville which I posted last night that mentions Alford Ullom's Farmer's Home motel. You can click on the website on my profile page to get there. I wrote a small biography about Alford and his 2 families there also. What I have about Benjamin Berry has also been posted along with a list of his children.

Hi!
My great-grandmother was Tacy Emmaline Berry Ullom, #25885574. While we were in Coffeyville during the Dalton Days centennial event, we stopped to take photos of the tombstones of the known family at that time. Are you a Berry descendant?
