Bio and Links
Bio Photo I need help !! from anyone who knows> I put pictures in find a grave in East Treherne Manitoba, Canada. I took pictures when visiting the cemetery. The trouble is-- later I enter the picture of the entrance to the cemetery. A few miles from Treherne is a town Woodlands. I started getting message that they wanted me to take the picture off the other cemetery. I didn't know how it went to their cemetery. So I took it off their cemetery and it deleted all my pictures. Story made short. I put the pictures back in my cemetery and the entrance picture was back in their. I kept getting message about "to take it off" The only way I could it was to delete everything. I can not get in my cemetery I tried to replace and I can't Other people can see what I deleted but I can not see any thing except my name. Help I can not find who to call o send a message to. Maybe this won't go either as it is from me.

Woodlands Cemetery confusion
Hi, I am familiar with both towns. I grew up in Treherne. The cemetery located a few miles east of Treherne, Manitoba was known as the East Treherne cemetery for many decades. There was also a one-room school that was called East Treherne. In about the 1960s or 1970s they changed the cemetery name to Woodlands Cemetery. I wish they had not done this, since it always makes me think of the town of Woodlands, Manitoba which is many, many miles away. I think the cemetery in Woodlands, Manitoba is called the St George Anglican Cemetery, Woodlands, Manitoba.

RE: woodlands - treherne or woodlands?
I assume you'd have to contact Find-a-grave to get them to fix this; St.George's Woodlands cemetery & "Woodlands Cemetery, Interlake" ARE the same place (Sherry Lee Porteous is ONLY entry for latter) & need to be combined with your photo being deleted ... Debra Spence's pic is the right one. (I'm just a volunteer submitter like you & have nothing to do with this site's administration.)

RE: woodlands - treherne or woodlands?
Thought we went through this before! ;-) So photo should be removed from Woodlands cemetery, South Interlake, Manitoba, as it doesn't belong there ... I'm not even sure if there is a cemetery named 'Woodlands' in Woodlands as those I'm aware of in that community are in St.George's Anglican Woodlands. The only interment currently listed for that cemetery is from an obituary which appeared in yesterday's newspaper, Sherry Lee Porteous ... whose family is in St.George's Anglican Woodlands & I suspect she is there also. Her great-grandma's obit lists 'buried Woodlands cemetery' & she IS in St.George's.

Francis Edwards
Hi Phyllis -
Looks like we share a grandfather in Francis Edwards. He is my fourth great grandfather on my mother's side.
Are you on Geni? Might be good to see where our family trees connect!

Woodland Cemetery
Hi again Phyllis!
On closer inspection of your photo for Woodlands Cemetery, I see that there is no 'S' on it. It reads 'Woodland' Cemetery, and it is in Trehern, MB. This must be where the confusion came from. Have a good day! :)

Cemetery Pic
Hi Phyllis.
Perhaps I am mistaken.....I thought the Trehern Cemetery had the arched 'Woodlands' at the entrance of the cemetery......sorry. :)

Woodlands Cemetery
Hi Phyllis!

I have added the correct photos for Woodlands Cemetery and I was wondering if you might delete the photo of Treherne Cemetery from that site. My Mother is interned at Woodlands Cemetery and I would like to put up her Gravestone but I don't want any confusion as to which grave yard it is. Thank you so much!

Sorry Phyllis;
I'm not related to any of those names I just took the tombstone photos and did a biography on the person. Pat Murphy

RE: Ross
Thanks Phyllis. So nice of you to help edit my work. I switched the dates around...but will double check this by trying to find the obituary.
