I have been interested in genealogy for years, and have found the contributors to Find A Grave to be a huge help in my research. I am trying to give something back by doing more posting and photo uploads.
I really enjoy taking volunteer photos. I think I like searching for and finding the graves as much as you like having your requests filled. Please submit each photo request as a separate request. When additional photo requests are in the notes, they are not printed on the request list, and I don't see them when I am out taking pictures. As photo requests are filled, any associated notes disappear.
If you want to use my grave photos on other web sites or your family tree, there is no need to ask. But please credit me. If you want a photo on additional Find A Grave memorials, such as when there is a double stone, please ask me to post those so I don't find my photos with your name on them. You can post only grave photos that you yourself took.
This permission to use my photos does not apply to personal or family photos. Please ask first about those.
I am flexible about transfers, and trust you will take good care of them. To request a transfer, go to the memorial that you want, click the edit tab, and send your request as a suggestion/additional information. Following the FAG procedure will ensure a smooth, accurate transfer. Please also use this tab for requests for corrections and links.
I especially like that I have a place to create memorials for my friends and family, hoping they will always be remembered. | |
