On my mothers side; Sidler, Sears, Pettit, Aldrich, Shellabarger, Barnes, Demmon, Harlow, Jacobs, Pearson, Hoover.|

|Preserving the Past||Re: Effie Mote #89354738|
Hello, On June 8th I sent an edit request via Effie's memorial, to date it has not been completed, so I thought I would try it this way by sending the request via your message page. Please link Effie to her mother's Matilda's memorial, 111987445. Thank you and have a great day!
I searched Section 22 Lot 198. Unfortunately, there are no headstones on the lot. The lot behind the Roth/Patterson lot is Vandergrift. I have a picture of lot 198 with the Vandergrift headstone in the distance. If you would like, I can post it. If not, not a problem. Please let me know what you would like to do.

I routinely photograph entire cemeteries. I load the pictures as I have time, so I usually have the photograph...I just haven't loaded it yet.

The name on this headstone is difficult to read. According to tax records her last name is Draper.
She is the daughter of Jesse Rowe Memorial# 62119646
and Mary Jane Faris Rowe Memorial# 62121556.
Thanks for uploading this cemetery.

Hi, The Swanks in Curtis Union are part of my tree ,from Catherine Rolston Swank. I would love to use your headstone photos on my family tree. Please be sure to let me know if you object. I always give credit to the photographer.Thanks in advance.

"Note from contributor: thanks, the current photo is of his son Larry".
Actually, if you look at the bottom of the stone that "darkened" area... it says - Dad James E 1906 - 1997.

I could not find these two in this cemetery. It is a small cemetery, so I don't think I could have missed them. If they died in Vinton Co, maybe they are buried there and was put in the wrong cemetery.
I see that you are researching Beery's. What line are you researching? I am researching Beery's from Abraham (1736-1799,Rockinghamm, Virginia) to Jacob (1769-1842, Fairfield Co, OH) to Jacob (1803-1878 Perry Co, OH) to David (1829-1870 Perry Co, OH). I have tons of research if you need anything.
|betty reese||RE: John H Breakfield/Brakefield|
Hi Katie-well, I leaped before I looked. When I noticed that Henry was also there and died in 1850, I went back to recheck the census. It states at the top that it is for every living person as of June 1, 1850. And both John & Henry were living at that time, so they are being counted on the census.
I am not related to the Breakfield's. I am related to Barbara Corson/Courson who was married to Henry Breakfield and was the mother of John Breakfield. I just recently got started on this part of my tree and am trying to connect Barbara as a sister to my GGG Grandfather, John Corson/Courson.
