RE: Ernest Council Stephenson
Thank you for your reply.

I still must respectfully disagree. The second photo you've added to Mr. Stephenson's memorial is the only one that is possibly him. It looks like an sketch based on a lost tintype. Such sketches were common back then, as photography was only for the very rich and many copies of the picture was virtually impossible anyway. They saved money by getting one photo taken, then getting an artist to make a great sketch of said photo. Something that has helped me tremendously in my research is to acquaint myself with the look and composition of old photographs and also the style of clothing and hair styles through the different years. I would encourage you to look into it. You seem to really care about learning about your family, so I think that this will be beneficial to you. I think perhaps after you look more into it, you will come to the same conclusion. If you will look into photographs from the 1880s and 1890s, you will find many photographs almost identical to yours in almost every way.

I hope that helps!
Lindsey

You have a number of images that I don't have, I wonder if you would mind me using them on my website?

Edit
Because you have asked info be added to a memorial even tho the same info is mentioned and posted in the bio section of the memorial. Rather than have repeated info I have deleted the info from the memorial so that your edit is approved.

Reed H. DOMINY, Captain, USAAF
Captain DOMINY was a close friend of my family. But for her untimely demise, he would have married my cousin Mary Elizabeth BRITTAIN.

The Army Service Casualty Office is trying to find relatives of Captain DOMINY to get DNA samples with a view to identifying and repatriating his remains.

If you can offer any help or clues, maybe you would e-mail Corinne.e.hagan.civ@mail.mil

Hello,

Are you by any chance related to Dean?
If so, do you know where his mother Goldie
Howard Starnes Witherspoon is buried?
Appreciate any information.

Is there any way to show Mary Ellen Turner b.Sep 13, 1900 as the mother of Syble Irene Turner b June 16, 1924? If you look at the bottom of Mary's headstone it says mother of Syble, and on Syble's at the top it says daughter. Thank you 😊
