Thank you so much for checking into this for me. Maybe someone else will notice and offer a solution. One train of thought is that maybe the person engraving the headstone used the date he was working (as in-not focused) versus the actual month and date of birth. It could happen! Your research is appreciated.
|maureen blackburn||Re: Mattie L. Dacus FAG#54982367|
I have just visited this site in an attempt to locate and link my Gr. GrandMother,Martha DiDammie Annanette (Hawkins)Dacus and I am 99% sure this is her Memorial, but here is the confusing part-a long name like that and no "L" initial. Secondly my Great GrandMother's date of birth by a family account is May 13, 1858 not this June 30 as on this actual headstone. The date of death is the very same. I was told that my Gr. GrandMother had gone to live in Riverside with her Daughter, Essie Survilla Davis, whose memorial I located in this same Cemetery. Is it appropriate for me to go ahead and link since the date of death is same and really not know about the birth date. I would appreciate input from someone more knowledgeable, while I try to solve this mystery.

Thanks for changing vitals and linking my cousin David Barrett 52345813 to his parents so quickly. It's confusing when headstones have conflicting information to official records, since many people rely on findagrave for their genealogical research, its important to have the correct vitals.

I understand, and have also seen two stones at one burial site.

This may or may not be a relative.
Can you help me understand the two different tombstones with the same name and dates?
I see that the third photo is just a close-up of one of the others.

Just wanted to thank you for this site and the pictures of the head stones. It really means a lot to be able to see the names of so many loved ones who cared for me throughout my life.

I want to thank you so much for creating a page for my mother. I had no idea how to find her grave and this has helped tremendously! And thank you for the picture, it means a lot. If i could get a transfer that would be great
