GENEALOGY has been in my life for over 50 years. Putting Madison County graves and photos on Findagrave is my personal goal. Findagrave is an awesome database. If you are close kin to anyone whose grave I photographed/memorialized and wish to "manage it" please notify me. I will ask for your relationship so have your genealogy handy. Corrections and/or additions are also appreciated. I also welcome any additional information about infant graves.(i.e. who are/were their parents)|
Hoping this site has aided you in your genealogy.:)

You are most welcome! I saw the request, but it looked like there was already a photo on the memorial page? I tried to take the picture so it showed the Bryant name more. I'm in that area frequently, so if you want a different photo, please let me know.

Melody, please ignore the request I just sent to you about changing William's DOB. Sorry, looked at wrong info.

I was so impressed to find a picture of my grandmother's grave on this website and even more impressed to see that someone had actually taken the time to photograph my father's grave (Clifton B Manning, Jr.). I did want to add a little info on Fannie. She also had a daughter, Aline Mozelle Manning Whitten, my dad's older sister. She passed away in May, 1997. I will have to find the dates and info if you are interested.

Hello my name is Joe Owen and I am currently doing research about the soldiers of Hood's Texas Brigade that fought at the battle of Antietam in 1862. One of the soldiers is E.K. Goree of Texas. I noticed that on his memorial on find a grave there is a photograph of him.
With your permission I would like to use a hi-definition photograph (tiff file 1000ppi or better), if you have one. If you don't, would you happen to know who has the original that I can contact and possibly use? I will of course, give you the acknowledgment in the book as the source of the photograph.
Thank You for reading this and I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi, Melody ... the above-referenced are my great-great grandparents; their son Milton 'Dutch' is my great-grandfather; his daughter Gladys Mae is my grandmother; her daughter Opal Mae is my mother. I am thrilled to see the photo of Elihu and Debby, and wonder if you have the original - or know where I might look for it or other family members? I have no idea what my great-grandfather looked like. Thanks for any assistance you may offer!

My great grandfather, name above, and his wife, Martha Angelina Stockton, are supposed to be buried in the Madisonville City Cemetery. In the 1970's I met with Mrs Boney, who was in charge of the cemetery at that time. She actually remembered Joshua, he was the Madisonville Postmaster from 1890's to 1913. She said they are buried in the part of the cemetery where all the markers were of wood and so there was no way to determine actual location. I was wondering if there has been in change since then. Joshua died in 1916, Martha, 1923. My grandfather is also buried there, also I believe unmarked, Albert Sidney Brown, died about 1922. My grandmother is buried there with her second husband; Ebby Katherine (Harper)Brown Hollis and J. A. Hollis.
