Bio Photo A retiree from the federal government and researching my genealogy I discovered "Find A Grave" and am now trying to assist others find their family members. Truly rewarding to help others!

Please contact me if one of my memorials is your family, I will gladly transfer as family belongs together.

Also, contact me to correct my mistakes or to provide additional information. I accept all edits submitted via Find A Grave edit tools - but do not do additional research on your submissions, as you have already researched - I trust your research.

I also post memorials found with birth year 1931 or before that have no death date - this follows FaG guidelines - and I'm sure someone may be looking for that family member.

I’ve started to walk cemeteries and snap photos as I walk. When adding a memorial, I only link family members when I have information from the stone or obituary; otherwise I rely on others to update memorials.

Thank you for transferring Ollie to me. I would not have found her without your help. Thanks for all of your hard work. Since my mother's death last year I have been following through with her work to get family information preserved.

Thanks! Can you do the same for her husband, Hunter Davis Guy's memorial?

Something changed the way FindaGrave works with Windows 10, and it even though it is oriented correctly on my pc, when it uploads it, it changes the orientation. If you can download it, re-orient it and get it to upload correctly, I will delete my photo. I tried many times to out-fox the upload process, but with no success.

Augustus Letterman and Catharine
Would you consider transferring #133847746 Augustus and #133847747 his wife Catharine to me. They are part of my Letterman line - my mother was a Letterman. Thanks in helping me find them and your work on Find A Grave

Thank you so much for transferring her to me. I was not expecting it. It does make it easier to add family information to her site.

Hi Friend,

I just wanted to share some serendipity—so typical on this site.

I found a marriage certificate from 1882 behind a photo of a Franklin D. Roosevelt memorial circa 1945. The frame was from pre-1900, so I was excited and bought it. I enlarged the certificate in Picasa and found the names. (The script was quite faded.) Those folks were SO difficult to find on I find the descendants of old photos as a hobby, so normally I’m pretty good. Finally I turned to findagrave—hoping someone else found them for me.

It seems like it is their time to surface again. You posted their photo on November 9th. After 133 years, I found their marriage certificate thirteen days later. It takes a village, eh? The photo frame, by the way, was found in Independence, Missouri at the Salvation Army Thrift Store. Thank you for adding your photo for Clara.
