My name is Catherine. I became interested in family history in 2002. One of my younger cousins died,and after his funeral several family members were discussing our family and we realized that we did not know a lot about our heritage.
Since that time I have gathered a lot of info. and pics. It has become important to me to know everyone's final resting place. I am grateful to F.A.G. for providing a place to preserve and share my research. Also, I want to thank the many kind people that have taken pics for me.
Family names are Byard, Cox, Crowder, Dixon, Rollins, Kendall and Kerns.
If you have additional info or corrections for anyone that I have listed please notify me.

Cat, thank you for allowing us to enter military info on this soldier of the 455th AAA Bn. in WWII. None of them should be forgotten. Much appreciated!
|Zack Lofton||Earl Starkey|
Hi! I am looking for the death date for Earl Starkey. He was born 18 January 1909 in Sweetland, Lincoln County, WV, a son of G.W. and M.J. Starkey. I'm quite sure that this is George Washington Starkey and Mary Jane "Mollie" Kerns. Earl married Katherine E. Dye on 15 July 1929 in Wallback, Clay Co., WV. I am not sure if they divorced. Is this the same Earl that remarried to Audrey Virginia White in 1936 in Wetzel County, WV? Is this he is stating a different a different birth county on this marriage record (Wetzel County), and he was older than 21 (as he stated). I am helping a friend who is the granddaughter of Earl Starkey and Katherine/Catherine E. Dye Starkey Bare (1915-2000). Plus I have connections to the Talkington family. Thank you so much!

I was wondering if you wouldn't mind transferring my great grandma's Find A Grave record to me so as to facilitate any information changes. For instance I want to add my great aunt as a child of hers.
How are you doing? Hope you're getting a bit more time to yourself. Last time I heard you were very busy with work.
All the best for the New Year to you and your family. xoxo, Maurice
Oh, my Find A Grave # is 46849316

Glad to be of assistance to you. I have uploaded all of the photo requests I could find at the cemetery. I am going to add a number of other memorials to the cemetery list. Maybe something will be of help to you. If you have other requests, add them because I go to this cemetery at least once a year.

The newspaper made a mistake on her birthplace. It was Lewanna, Cherry County, Nebraska, NOT Louisiana, Cherry County. Lewanna has not existed for many years. She lived there til 6 yrs old and then moved to Grant, Nebraska.
The survivors need to be corrected also:
her sister-Lona should be Leona. If corrections can be made her family would greatly appreciate it.
