Hello Catie & Will,

I'm not sure if you can help me, but I've been looking for the grave site of my 2nd great grandfather George Rubush. I've located his obituary from the Tipton Daily Tribune and confirmed that he was reported to be buried in Fairview Cemetery, but I not been able to locate his burial place.

I've noticed you've done a lot of work at Fairview and was wondering if you might be able to look into this mystery?

Kind regards,

Perry family in Windfall
You created memorials for several of my ancestors. I wanted to give you a link to add as well as inquire about the source of the additional information.

Orpha E Said Perry #74215936 and her husband Lewis Perry are my 3rd great grandparents. Lewis Perry died in the Civil War and was buried in Troy New York. Can you add a link to his memorial from Orpha's page (and those of his children)? It is Pvt Lewis Perry # 112014845

Their children are:
Mary P Perry #74215955
Louise Perry Forrer #74215904
Elijah Perry #74403165 (my 2nd great grandfather)
You manage their memorials, including that of Elijah's wife (my 2nd great grandmother) Ida May Steele Perry #74403184.

You have added memorials for 2 of Elijah and Ida May's children, but perhaps you could link to their other son (my great grandfather,)Bert Perry #34744337.

The information you have added to these pages has been very helpful to me. I have hit a dead end in accurately identifying the parents of Lewis Perry and Orpha Said. Many people mistakenly identify a certain Absalom Perry as Lewis' father, but as it is stated in his memorial #1072789: there was "a whole "Colony" of Perry families were living in this area. Lewis and Orpha Perry lived next door [to Absalom and Elizabeth]. (They named their youngest child "Absalom." ) Benjamin Perry and his wife, Lucinda, lived down the way."

So if you can pass on any good sources for Lewis and Orpha I would appreciate it!!

RE: John F Spencer
oh, I'm not interested in that part, since I'm still uncertain of my relationship to this man. I really am trying to get in touch with his family.

Hi, I had requested a photo for Cynthia Casey but the cemetery office said they don't have a record for her, only a Maude Casey, I thought I'd let you know. Thanks, Janet
