Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy for many years. One of my favorite things in researching is visiting cemeteries. I love to just walk around the tombstones and try to imagine what the people's lives might have been like. I have been contributing tombstone pictures to this site to help fellow genealogists that are a distance away that can't visit their relative's gravesite in person.

My family has been a big assistance to me in my project for this website. My son, Trenton, my daughter, Alena, and my husband, Terry, have helped me take tombstone photos. So a big "THANKS" goes out to all three of them!!

Quote from Findagrave: "The goal is not to "own" every memorial of those to whom you are related. THE ULTIMATE GOAL SHOULD BE TO HAVE MEANINGFUL, ACCURATE MEMORIALS THAT HONOR THOSE WHO HAVE PASSED AWAY, REGARDLESS OF WHO CREATED THE MEMORIAL OR WHO MAINTAINS IT." Please keep this in mind when you request a transfer as it takes a lot of time and money to do research to add memorials to this site. I love working on this site, but I have run into some problems just recently.

I DO WELCOME ADDITIONS, CORRECTIONS AND FAMILY LINKS. The more information the better!! I usually get the updates done within 1 or 2 days.

Robert L Smith
I think that the picture you have of Robert L Smith and his wife Delores M smith.
I only saw him twice in my life.
The last time I saw him was 1973.
He was living in Covington and working in Danville.
I think he had two girls a boy.
Born in Arkansas.
Thanks for any information.

Joseph Johnson 35270097
Is it possible you might have additional information on Joseph Johnson buried Farmer's Chapel Cemetery, Danville, Vermilion Co, IL? I believe Joseph was the son of Margaret and John Johnson, who are also buried at the same place, as well as their son, Alexander Reed Johnson. Do you still have the picture of his stone? If so, does it have any details...even those that are faint? He may have died 1850-60. I do appreciate your adding his memorial and thank you for your help to determine any more details we can add! Memorial# 58507345 Mary Ella Baker
Hi Lisa,
I was wondering if there was another stone next to hers? Albert Baker was her husband and didn't see it listed there. Thank you for all you do!

Ben & Ethel Lane - Gundy Cemetery, Bismarck IL
Hi Lesa

Ben & Ethel Lane were parents to my sister-in-law Barbara Jean Lane Jackson. You posted there find a grave. George & Barbara died within a few months of each other from cancer. Their mother was 80 years old. Also on the find a grave site Bob & Nancy Cannon added a picture of their tombstone. Do you know or have any additional information on their parents or family? Do you know if the Cannon's new them are just took the picture?

I'm trying to help my niece Julie get more information on her mother's family.

Thank you and thanks for the post.

I appreciate you taking the time to make the memorial for Robert Clarence Armour. The question we have is where you came to find the location of Robert's burial, the reason being is that another family member put in a photo request and received the follwoing message.

"We apologize. This name was not found in written or electronic
records at this cemetary."

Hi Lisa,
I just visited Mt. Pisgah cemetery in Georgetown, Illinois and was saddened to see a lot of damage done to gravestones. There was also older gravestones seen in the brush.....which hadn't been mowed. I did find my great great grandfather who started our farm in 1864 with 3 other members of his family. I could not find a child named Mary who died it seems when she was 11 yrs. Old. I found Mary first wife, Nancy second wife that our line is from, and their daughter Clara. Their son Isaac which is my great grandfather is buried in indianola woodruff? Cemetery with his wife and my question is can you find little Mary's gravesite and is there a way I can get access to all family members buried at Mt. Pisgah in case there are more? Is there a way to purchase or receive a list of all people buried at mt. Pisgah? Thanks for any help. Diane Russell

Abe and Elizabeth Hunter
Thank you so much Lesa for the transfer of my great grandparents Abe and Elizabeth. They had seven children and I knew all but two of them. I also have a few vague memories of Elizabeth. It means a lot to me to get them all linked for future generations. Thanks again for all the work you have do on here!
