I've been tromping through cemeteries since I was a little girl! Every vacation included a visit to some cemetery for my family researching mother! I guess I inherited the same gene as now that I'm an adult genealogy is my passion!|
If I have posted a memorial for one of your ancestors please let me know. I'm happy to transfer them to you. Happy searching!

This is my 3x great grand uncle. Do you mind if I post this photo on my public family tree?

Is Uncle Dalton's 2nd wife, Irma Stilwell, still living? If not do you have a Find A Grave # for her?
Thank you for transferring her to me. I know I'm hung up on this, but two years ago my daughters wanted to join the DAR. They knew my grandmother had been a member so they thought no problem. Well, they (DAR) are a lot more careful about accepting records and proofs than they were and the registrar ran into a glitch. My grandmother was given one name at birth, but after her mother's death as a teenager she changed her name to her mother's name. There were all sorts of records of her marriage, the births of her children, and her death. There was no record of a birth for that same name.
Fortunately, a published family history by cousins told the story of the name change.
This concerns errors I have discovered with Sarah Catherine Todd Graydon . Sarah is my great, great grandmother, Margaretta Lucretia Todd Liston's sister. First of all, there is a listing for Sarah Graydon (100094168) buried in Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis, who is identified as a daughter of Levi and Sarah Todd. This is later than yours and there is no photograph. The names are exactly the same, though the death dates are twenty years apart.
Your listing has errors. Margaretta and Sarah are full sisters and both are the daughters of Levi Luther and Sarah Todd.
You have Sarah listed as the "Daughter of Levil." His name is Levi. The carver did not leave enough space between Levi and L on Sarah's marker. The link you have for the father is "Levi L. Todd (1828-1862)." This Todd, 18896086, is half a country a way in New Hampshire and was born after the Todd sisters, Levi Luther Todd and Sarah Ashby Todd are both buried in Southport Cemetery. His number is 93989789.
I would appreciate you making the corrections.

Yes, that is the page I found it on. That page is very interesting and I will undoubtedly glean further info from it for the Botkin relation. I just thought that picture of Elsie was sweet and it is such a sad story, that folks would probably welcome having that info. Thanks for all that you do!

I forgot to add that there is a photo of her in a stroller on ancestry.com and if you google the Botkin name and find the particular webpage.

Hello. This child is a descendant of the Botkin Family and I found on one of their web pages that she was less than ten months old when she died. She was crawling on the floor and found a button, and like most children that age put it in her mouth and she choked to death. Very sad, but I thought you might like to add these facts to her page.

Thanks for your reply. I will attempt to find a means to get in touch with the one who provided the photo.

On the findagrave page for the above-mentioned there is a photo of tombstone at the bottom of the page (the last one going down of the three photos) that is indistinguishable. Do you know what stone this is? Thanks
