I welcome corrections, additional information, and requests for linking family members. Please use the "Edit" tab and enter the memorial ID numbers of the parents you want linked to.
I also will gladly transfer memorials that are not my relatives to anyone genuinely interested in maintaining them. Please contact me privately and provide a method of communication if your profile does not contain your e-mail address
If you have photos of anyone I have created a memorial for, and you are not a FindaGrave member, I will gladly post the photos to the memorial site to put more faces with the names and dates.
Please remember that Find-a-Grave is a network of volunteers. If someone takes the time to locate the gravesite for you, photograph the marker, and post it to the site for you, please take the time to acknowledge their efforts.
Boundless harvesting of another person's research and publishing it elsewhere as your own is not genealogy, it's downright inconsiderate.

|Theresa O||RE: Holy Cross Cemetery|
You are very welcome. That part of the cemetery was fairly void of headstones, and seems to me to be common. People just couldn't afford them, even though they felt it important.

Hi Mike! We were in contact years ago re: my Kunkel family. Hope all is well w/you. I'm wondering if you meant to spell "Recinger" as Reisinger. John's grandparents were John & Margaret "Peggy" (Reisinger)Arnold. My Great-great-grandparents were Nicholas & Margaret (Fortney) Arnold. Nicholas & James Neely Arnold were brothers. Would also like to check in with you on the Kunkels since it's been so long.

Hi Mike! I am presently researching the Lego family of which Steve's mom was before she married. He was NOT married to Susan Walters. Susan was his sister! Thanks for deleting!

You are quite welcome. I came across that plaque while searching for others and the name snagged a memory from the list of requests for Forest Hills. I can create he memorial or you can, it makes no difference tk me. If I create it I would turn it over to you though since she is of your family and not mine :-). I am trying to fulfill as many if not all requests for that cemetery as I can while I search for some of my own family that is there- two birds with one stone so to speak, lol. Please let me know if there is anything mire I can do to help :-).

|Angel ||Photo Request for Edward McGinithen|
Greetings, I was out at Forest Hills the other week and came across a site for a Blair and Thelma McGinithen. The dates for Edward match what is on the plaque for Blair. Can you verify if your Edward Blair McGinithen had a wife Thelma M McGinithen (1907 - 1996). If so, I will put the photo up for him and fulfill your request :-)

|DLRoyer||RE: Catherine (Weaver) Mocklin|
I spent four hours this morning trying to untangle the records. I cannot find any record that Catherine Weaver was ever married to Luther Nagle. She does have a child with him who is living with Anna Ella Yingst Weaver Kissel and is listed as a grandson in 1900. She would have been 16 at the time of the birth.
But the reporting party on Anna's death certificate is Catherine Mocklin, not Nagle. I started searching and found that Luther Nagle's wife was a Mary Catherine Hummel. I think Anna's daughter Catherine married George Mocklin. They lived right around the corner in the 1910 census. I think Mary's son Luther Nagle is illegitimate and that is why he is being raised by his maternal grandmother?
In any case Anna's oldest daughter Mary Jane Weaver is my 3 G grandmother through the Hoerner family. I think you and I shared info previously. I am a descendent of Elsie HOERNER.
