Thanks for posting her info and for creating the memorial. It is a blessing that people like you take time to do this work. Her mother's maiden name I misspelled - it is Kentzel.

Oh boy, did I not catch this message from 2012. Sorry to be so tardy. Yes, I am a Mehaffie researcher and would love to share data.

|Donna Severson||Evan Morgan|
Any chance of reading the rest of the tombstone. I would like to see the writing under his name. my Evan Morgan died with a will and must of had some money so there must have been a tombstone. He died in Montgomery county but may have been buried in another one that is now. Would like some info. Donna
|Linda Kestner||Old German Cemetery|
Hi Rob and Debi...you always say you remember me from searches you did at WPGS: KESTNER et al. I'm a little bit closer to finding my Martha Wettlaufer Kestner Bowers because her daughters: Caroline and Catherine married CONEBY and HAUGHT husbands, well documented in Washington County. From that research, I think I've found the girls' father, John Bowers, buried in Old German Cemetery, Penn Hills. Problem is that the fellow who entered many graves there has died and now there's an outstanding list of requested photos. I put the question out there on the Forum but so far no takers. Tell me, do you know about this Cemetery? Are there any records at WPGS regarding burials? From the few photos I've seen, the stones are in poor condition and transcription would have been difficult for a long time now. Of course, you see what I'm after -- if John Bowers, b. 22 Aug 1836 - d. 08 Dec 1888, is there, b. "German Lutheran" on 10 Dec 1888, surely Martha is there too as death record says he was "married".
Please tell me what You recommend: should I wait for someone at Findagrave or should I pay a professional and if so, who? I'm guessing there isn't any stone to be seen...but surely some burial records are still in existence. Any advice for me? Many thanks. Linda Kestner, Jacksonville OR email@example.com

Now that I have looked at this closely, you are correct. Robert is the son of William, not James.
I will get back to you with more information and questions.
|KEN DOTY BROWN||RE: Robert Louther|
I rec'd your message. I will look into the problem and get back to you on Thursday.
I have 2 Margaret Fi(a)lloons in my tree. One the daughter of Daniel, the other the daughter of John. I am not even sure that Daniel and John are related, but I believe they are brothers.
Will be in touch.
