Bio Photo First and foremost... Many thanks to the two interpreters that have been a tremendous help: Nicholas Maskalick and Frank Klawonn

Our Motto: No Cemetery too big, no Cemetery too small, if we can't find a marker, it's not there at all!
We, the genealogist and the photographer, really enjoy being volunteers for Find-a-Grave. It is very gratifying to be helping others and making new friends. Also, it is enjoyable seeing the earlier generation's monuments, crypts and markers.
We are a retired military family (USMC). After over 22 years we settled in Pittsburgh, Pa. Charlie is from Tennessee, Mary grew up in Pittsburgh. (Mary won the tossup.)
Thanks to all for the great responses of our findings. They are the icing on the cake!

William Carlin
Hi Mary,
Thanks for the photo of William's marker. He's another Char-Val student. Someone told me that he died in a submarine accident in Hawaii, but I haven't been able to verify that yet. Still looking. I do have his obituary but not the story. Mary

Many thanks for fulfilling this photo request. It was especially important to my husband -- Jennie is his great aunt!

RE: SAMUEL GRAHAM AT CHARTIERS CEMETERY
Mary - I got that date from a family tree on Ancestry.com. The name of the tree is Graham. They have the 1850 census listed as their source, so clearly they have other information since that only has age.

RE: SAMUEL GRAHAM AT CHARTIERS CEMETERY
Hi Mary. I can't link him to my tree. However, I see that there is an Addison Graham (1842-1871) who has a dad named Samuel Graham. Samuel's birthdates are: February 17, 1800 Allegheny County, PA, USA

If you need more, let me know.
