I have been researching my family tree for about 30 something years. Along the way I come across obituaries and tombstones of others and so I try to post as many as possible. I also make a habit of visiting cemeteries. Our past is very important. Photographs preserve what nature will eventually take back. Each person in a cemetery was once someone very important to someone else. I try to find a little something out about each headstone I post. If you have anything to add or correct for anyone I have posted, please let me know!
RE: John C. Hargreaves Thanks Tracy, that is what I had recorded in my family tree but I thought I must have dreamed it because I had put Find-a-Grave as the source but then could not find it. I appreciate your assistance and the additional entry in the bio.
John C. Hargreaves Find-a-Grave #32974897, Rooks Cemetery. The bio states the marker was moved by family to Inverness but what cemetery is the marker located? Is it in Oak Ridge? Thank you in advance for your assistance.
33753318 Thank you very much for the transfer of my Uncle Robert "Bobby" Kennedy to my keeping. Now the family is all together. And thank you for all your wonderful work on Find a Grave I appreciate it!
Nora Maines I submitted an edit to you for her father. Nora is my great aunt and there are many links on his memorial to her family. Her mother unfortunately, died or disappeared after his death and the children were divided amongst relatives and there seems to be no documentation as to what happened to her.
