Bio and Links
Bio Photo FindaGrave has some incredible research I never would have uncovered, but take heed, I've also found Ancestry.com creeping in here with less than stellar research and records.

I began researching my genealogy using the research of my grandparents. I found some errors and corrected these and marched on with my research. Been at this for probably over 20 years depending on how you want to calculate it. I find genealogy is just a puzzle, and the only way to solve it is with evidence.

I am a retired U.S. Army, Ranger and Special Forces Team Sergeant (Green Beret).

RE: Thank you :)
It was a labor of love on my part because some of the old stones would have been lost and forgotten lying on the ground covered with leaves and brush. There could be more there according to other records but it would be difficult to locate them because of the condition of the entire area. How do you have interest in the cemetery? Just curious. I'm glad my research was helpful to you. Regards, Judy

RE: George Friedline
You are very welcome. It's ironic - I found that cemetery by accident while on the way to another site. Actually I didn't even see it - my passenger in the car spotted it, and we stopped on the way back. :)

Allan Miller
Jacob Maust 21954617
Hi Glen,
My name is Allan Miller and I am also a desecendant of Jacob Maust (only 4 greats for me). I see that you're not from Western PA, but I'll take a chance and ask anyway. Would you happen to know exactly where the Maust Burial Ground is? Also buried there is my 3G Grandfather Abraham, 2G-Peter, & Great Grandfather Nelson Maust. I don't think that Find-A-Grave is right. My uncle (also a Maust desecendant says it's south of Salisbury, PA, but Find-A-Grave says it's northeast. Nelson is the only Great Grandfather that I haven't visited.

Any help you can give me is greatly appreciated...Thank you,

Your distant cousin,
Allan

Tracing my father's roots. Thomas Hanna.
Have gone back and found the earliest Alexander Hanna. I believe this is my relative, traced through ancestry.com. Do you have any other information?
