Bio Photo Find-a-Grave rocks!

Let me know if you need a transfer if you can add more bio info. Hope everyone gets out there and photographs some stones - that is the main reason this site exists. Thanks.

Just went back to my original project of Warwick Cemetery, Warwick Massachusetts (which I started in 2001) to photograph some more stones. Snapped about 400 or so. About another 500 people to find there and it should be complete. I would like to find my worse photos and re-shoot them as well.

Still looking to get to Crystal Lake and finish the little I have left before snow flies.

A couple of items I find cool:

Found this inscribed on a stone in Warwick, Ma.:

"Low in the ground my bed is made,
here in the dark alone I'm laid.
Depart my friends and let me rest,
I'm weary of this wilderness."

Found this on a find-a-grave profile:

Old Bones' profile poem"

Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.

RE: Emily Abigail Manning Jacobson and others...
Ryan who are the four that you're looking for?

One of the find-a-grave members told me that just because she couldn't find a grave didn't mean it wasn't there...could have been swallowed up by earth during storms, be 6" beneath grass, weeds, or a bush, etc. She said that sometimes she dug and found what she was looking for but that it frankly wasn't worth the effort.

If I have source info on any of the four that you're looking for that will help you, I'll be happy to share.

Emily Abigail Manning Jacobson and others...
I wanted to thank you for getting the pics that you were able to...and also for trying to find the stones for Elizabeth Ann Green Manning and Jabez Manning. Strange they aren't there...but as someone told me about a gravesite they couldn't could be there swallowed up under dirt, grass, a bush or 6" down or something.

RE: George M. Whitney
I've added the other family members in the plot. We visited the graves several years ago on a genealogical jaunt. I'm asking a local relative to do photos for me.

Thanks for the message! I completed Royalston Center (90% to existing headstones/monuments) I also completed Riverside (aka South Royalston) to the same degree and added 600+ memorials, nearly the entire cemetery. Your work is so much appreciated in Winchendon, Rutland and the area. I have Pike/Underwood/Chase ancestors in that area who I cannot find, that is the reason I spent so much time in Royalston. Keep up the great work, it is always a relief to see your memorials. Jim
