|I'm a middle school English teacher that spends my "spare" time conducting genealogical research. I spend lots of time in the Forest Hill and Laurel Hill cemeteries in Fitchburg. |
Please feel free to use photos that I take for whatever purpose you choose. However, any and all photos must include proper source information in the citation. This allows other researchers to maintain the integrity of the research process.
I often have additional and/or higher quality images for many of the memorials. Please contact me if interested.
Please note that although I strive to take the best possible quality photos, I occasionally upload pictures that I plan to replace in the future.
GPS Issues: I recently noticed that the FindaGrave site appears to be rounding off(?) the coordinates that I've entered. I apologize for any confusion.

|Burton Risser||Deacon Daniel Lowe|
In the findagrave memorial for Deacon Daniel Lowe it reports that his death was by hanging & suicide.
Could you tell me the source of this information on the cause of death? I had not heard this before and it appears a bit unusual for a Deacon of the church.
Any information you can provide will be appreciated.

Thanks for all your great work at FindAGrave.com, it'a appreciated. As a genealogist studying the Wheelock surname, I particularly appreciate your recent posts of the Wheelocks in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
I have a question about the memorial for George H. Wheelock, number 127268726. You mention that he was the adopted son of Henry P. Wheelock, per Henry P. Wheelock's obituary, Oct 24, 1904. I'm wondering if you could forward me a copy of Henry P. Wheelock's obituary. I'm not 100% sure where to place him in the Wheelock family tree; maybe the obituary will help.

Thank you for this photo. It is a great help to my research of the Bugbee family and I really appreciate your time and effort. Thanks again. - Allison Clausen

I only needed to add the death Day and the city. Thanks for your help. Please delete the duplicate memorial.

|Burton Risser||RE: Lowe graves at Laurel Hill|
Thank you very much for your rapid response in providing the photos for both Willard H. Lowe and his wife Caroline A. Hall. In addition, thanks for the photo which is located in the center of the Lowe family plot with the name Lowe--Is there also a marker with the names of Deacon Daniel 1796-1863 and his wife Betsy Phelps Lowe 1798-1865? Her findagrave monument does not include a marker photo. I visited the Laurel Hill Cemetery five years ago and don't recall seeing the grave stones for Willard & Caroline Lowe. Sorry to see some damage on Caroline's stone. Thank you for your offer to send additional photos via e-mail in the coming days. Your photos are great!
