Death: Dec. 12, 1845
Served in the war of 1812, husband of Susanna Bird Smith

Then this one:
Martin Lvingston Parkes
Birth: Aug. 26, 1793
North Carolina, USA
Death: Dec. 12, 1845
shares stone with Susan B. Parkes.
May I suggest adding the info below on my very distant relative, please?
Martin Livingston Parkes was born August 26, 1793, in Wilkes County,
North Carolina. His oldest known ancestor was Thomas Parks (ca 1670-1760) of Virgina. He fought in the War of 1812 enrolling in Captain Lee's Company 10th North Carolina Volunteers September 18, 1812. He was appointed Ensign in the 10th Regt. U.S. Infantry July 2, 1813, and served until January 26, 1814, when he was promoted to 3rd
Lieut. where he served until September 20, 1814. He was promoted to 2nd Lieut. where he served until June 15, 1815, when the Army was disbanded. He emigrated to Lincoln County (now Moore County). He married Susanna Bird Smith May 18, 1819, in Lincoln County,
Tennessee. Susanna was born August 8, 1803, in Virginia. She was a daughter of William Smith, a Revolutionary War soldier.

My husband's 2GGrandfather, William Smith "Billy" Parks, is buried about an hour from where we live. He left TN and settled in Chester, TX. I would love to correspond with you about these folks.

Would you please change/edit the Cemetery name for George and Dicy Meadors Parks to Briar Creek Cemetery ~ they are confirmed in BC by visual of their tombstone by Theresa/Thunderbird584 member #47100429. Thanks!
Hey Joel, great to hear from you! Hope all is well in your corner of the world! Any Parks info - as you know - is much appreciated as my great grandmother was Rachel Parks Smith of Jellico.
Keep me posted and have a great summer!
Your Parks cousin : )
|Roderick Clark Miller||Clark relationship|
Hello Joel. I met Charlotte Bailey Rierson two years ago online as I was researching the family genealogy. I am a Clark descendant. Charlotte and I have exchanged documents. She provided me your name, as we are cousins to. Robert Clark, Nancy Caroline Clark's father and my great great great grandfather Dr. James Raleigh Clark were brothers. I am looking for any records and photos that exist. Dr. Francis Marion Clark was my great great grandfather and son of Dr. James Raleigh Clark.
James Raleigh & Francis Marion Clark are buried at Bradford cemetery in Shirley Arkansas. Although they were from Olney Illinois, Richland county.
Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would be able to share any and all documents, photos that you may have. I will do the same. We have always known about Robert Clark's side of the family but have never met any of his descendants until I met Cousin Charlotte. I manage most of Dr. James Raleigh Clark descendant graves on findagrave if you would like to view or copy the photos. Thank you Joel
