 | RE: Floyd Barber I am friends with Lynn Barber and Marilyn Barber, children of Floyd Barber, and grandchildren of James. I have records that Lynn has compiled. I am entering extended family as I run into any, and would be happy to take whatever information you have to give. Please tell me the name of the person you are working with, if you can.

 | Margaret McConnell Davidson John,
Margaret McConnell Davidson 6371354 can be linked to John McConnell, Sr., 50665727 - her father. I thought Mary was also moved to Centre Church when the Baker Cemetery was moved as the Lake was flooded in the early 1980's. But, I did not find her inventoried.

 | Samuel Lisle John,
I see that you manage most of the Lisle memorials in Union Cemetery. I came across this grave while documenting there (memorial 101828477). It says "SAMUEL son of S & (?) Lisle DIED July 26, 1845". Looks like an infant/child's grave, possibly with an age of 7 years (or 7 months?), but it is pretty illegible. The ground was frozen, so I couldn't dig around the edges. I saw a One World Tree entry for a Samuel Lisle who had this death date and was the son of Samuel Lisle and Elizabeth Weatherington. Could this be the same Samuel, or do you have any other ideas/information?
Thanks, KatieAdded by KatieABK on Dec 06, 2012 7:29 PM | | | OhioSearcher

 | RE: Thank You for Krieger Photo Thanks. I actually don't know the Krieger family. I was at the cemetery to find my own family. But two weeks ago someone phographed some for me in Michigan, so I thought I would pay it forward. And oddly, the Kriegers were the first headstones I found, ironically. Happy to help. | RE: Sarah Parker (Allen) Clifford Local? no- but I visited there last October. Did Oak Grove and Rural as much as I could with a dog and two other people tagging along who don't do gravestones! The office at Rural is extremely helpful. As to getting photos- well you can always request and wish for the best. I may get down there again someday but Attleboro is next on my list. Take care.Added by ditdit on Mar 19, 2011 5:44 PM | | | postitnote
 | RE: Thank You! I didn't see any other Davidsons near HD Davidson in Oakwood Cemetery Annex. The names that are immediately nearby are Sullivan, McGill, Beauchamp, Cardwell, Payton, Grein, Grolich, and Kendrick. If any of these sound familiar within your family, let me know and I'll return to the cemetery.
There is one other Davidson buried in Oakwood Cemetery Annex, James Calvin Davidson, born about 1864, died Jan 19, 1918, but he is buried on the opposite end of the cemetery and it doesn't appear that he has a headstone. | | | Betty Saltenberger

 | RE: Thanks! Hi John
I wasn't aware that you were in need of other photo's. I saw the request for McDaniel and knew there was a marker even though another person had reported the problem of not being able to locate it. Laura | | | | [View all messages...] |
