Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have a large number of pictures of the headstones in the Taylor, McGraw, Green Hills, Virgil & Willow Glen Cemeteries plus MANY other cemeteries in the Tompkins & Cortland Counties. I have been working at labeling and loading pics that I have. In the meantime feel free to contact me if you are looking for someone specific.

I am now living in Suffolk Virginia and have starting photographing cemeteries close to my new home as well.

If you have any additional information or changes or links that need to be added on someone I have listed, please contact me at any time.

Cheers ~ Starr

Jesse Clark
Hello again,

DAR has approved the birth Date for Jesse Clark as 5 January 1757 - he was the husband of Sarah Foote Clark - you just made her birthdate change. Could you link them - I could give you more info for your memorial if you wish.

Hopa Mae Puderbaugh Hulslander # 41711889
Hi Starr...

When you have time if you would please upload the headstone photo on Mae's page to the following pages of her family...

H. Eugene Hulslander # 124888976
Lois Evelyn Hulslander # 130521761

Mae & Eugene's son Theodore's name appears on the headstone, but he is not buried in Willow Glen with his first wife Doris. He is interred with his second wife Trixie in Green Hills.

I'd also like to ask your permission to use your photos in my Ancestry tree. Cite/Source is always given to the original photographer.

Thanks so much,

photos for scoutens
Hi, Starr, do you have a photo for Violet Viola Towers (Scouten) or any of the other precious family members I have been searching for under the Scouten name? I am researching in the immediate family. For the life of me, I cannot find any for my great grandmother, Viola.

Herbert Gilbert
Hi, Starr,

I found out yesterday that Great Grandma Viola's first and late husband's given name was Herbert. Have you made a connection in the Moses or another Cortland County Gilbert family connection with a Herbert? He wouldn't have been the Herbert here, but I am thinking that someone in that family may have had a child and named him after this Herbert. Viola's Herbert died before 1892. This Herbert you have pictured, I cannot find with any marriage on any census.

Hello Star,
When I made the page for my father, Gustav Zarges, in 1910, I didn't know you had already made one in 1908. I'm sorry, but I didn't know much about find-a-grave at that thime. Max

Your photo collection
Hello Star, It's a wonderful thing you do, adding photos to memorial pages. You added the military stone for my husband at

I was wondering if you would consider placing your photos of monuments on a web site? I could help create one if you want.

An historic marker has been placed along the road here, telling of the Hawley Cemetery on my property.

Yours, Mrs ERD
