I have been doing research regarding Aircrashes near my village in WWII for about 18 years.

photo you added to 71933620
Thank you Michel for all the work you do to honor WWII veterans. You added an amazing photo to my uncle's memorial at

It shows my uncle Sgt John Lazoration with his flight team. I wonder where the photo came from?
May I add it to my uncle's information on my family tree?

Do you know the names of the others in the photo? If so, could you share them? I know that a few of them survived the training mission which killed my uncle.

Thank you so much!

Oh incidentally, you posted a photo to Col Dayhuff' s memorial. Just wanted to show you the end result. And thank you also for all the WWII work you do for our fallen Airmen.

Dennis Francis Brooker
Hi Michel,

I see that you have posted a photograph of medals awarded to my Great Uncle Sgt. Dennis Francis Brooker, of 626 Squadron. He was unmarried when KIA, survived by his parents, and older brother and sister. As a family, when we began researching my Grandmother's baby brother, about whom she only spoke as she grew older, we were unaware that any of his medals still existed.

I cannot quite read the name of the person to whom they were sent, but the address appears correct. Are you able to provide more clarity as to who has his medals? Perhaps a relative about whom I am unaware? A museum?

Kind regards,

Kevin R

Michel...I'm so sorry I've not gotten back to you until now. I put the pix I have of Albert on his memorial page. His 1st cousin (also my Grandma Irma's 1st cousin), Capt. Dorothy Puffpaff, is the one who took the pix. It was taken at their grandparents (Puffpaff) house in East Dundee, Kane County, IL.

Thanks for adding the flight photo of Col Harry Dayhuff. Most of all, giving me the courage to post other photo's that I have been holding. No, I don't hold the copywrite for these photos. Are you from the Netherlands? or Belgium?
