Bio Photo I started a little quest in search of my great grandfather. I have have now found him, and I have now caught the genealogy bug. I love to walk through the older cemeteries, they have such personalities. I have met so many wonderful people doing this research. I hope that I never get too old to do this kind of work.

Sgt Joseph Harlan Hankins
Hi Nancy,
I wonder if you may be able to help me.

I am researching my husbands grandfather and see this entry for Joseph Hankins I have struggled finding a Hankins from Loveland area of Colorado.

The first name I had for him was Dick. I completely struck out with that first name. It may be a nickname. Next I started searching Hankins only in the Loveland, Colorado area and came up with Joseph.

I'm hoping this is him. I have such limited info as he was divorced from my husbands grandmother - Nellie Rosa Turner (maiden name) shortly after the birth of their daughter -Evelyn Letha.

Nellie was married on November 7, 1915 and Evelyn was born on September 12, 1916. All of this was in or near Loveland, Colorado.

If any of this info sounds like I have the correct person will you please let me know.

Thank you very much - Janice Carlson

Weldon Family Memorials
Thank you Nancy, for removing the Weldon Family duplicates. I have forwarded suggested linking and additions via EDIT for their son's (John Jr.) memorial. Best Wishes.

RE: Robert Foley
If you took any photos of either Foley graves, could you please email them to me at bvandervos@yahoo.com? Also, were you able to confirm anything with respect of the difference in dates?

Thanks again for all your work and the amount of effort you've put into this project.

RE: Robert Foley
The Washington Death Index and SSI Index both state Jul 10, 1975. His wife, Lillie Mae (Crom) Foley died in Washington on Since he died in Washington Feb 12, 1976. Both gravesites in Find A Grave show the same date of July 1976. Please take a better photo of Lillie's grave as the one posted has grass over part of the text. It may be that their family members had them both buried in the cemetery on the same day in 1976, but their actual death dates are different. I'll be anxious to see what you find. If you wish, you can email me privately at bvandervos@yahoo.com.

Thank you.
