RE: Ben Johnson

Leethey told me that Ben's full name is Colonel Benjamin Johnson. I just realized I never did put that in his Bio.

Edith

P.S. Regarding the death record,
he wasn't born yet on the 1870 census
and was 8 years old on the June 1880 census.

David Kennedy Thomas
I am trying to find David Kennedy Thomas b. 1809 and his daughter Catherine Thomas Hand (wife of Meldrick Marion Hand killed in Civil war 1862). Catherine was daughter of above David Kennedy Thomas and Elizabeth Bryan Thomas and she was born 1839, died 1862, same year as her husband, possibly in childbirth of daughter. Meldrick Marion and Catherine Thomas Hand's son, Benjamin Franklin Hand was my g-gf. I am told she was buried in Providence as was her father, but do not find in find-a-grave. Thanks so much...I am getting desperate. I found a picture of her brother Zachariah Green Thomas on Providence Cemetery in Ringgold Cemetery site. That meant a lot.

M.T. Thomas
Hi, M.T. Harris was one of my grand uncles. Find a grave memorial #14134016. His full name was Michael Thomas Harris He was married to Nancy Virginia "Gennie" Smith. Gennie can be found under find a grave memorial #88727595. Can these memorials be linked together? Both were created by two different people. I just started on Find a grave so I am not really sure how this works. Thank you

RE: Transfers
Mrs. Alverne, I simply cannot put into words how much all your research and work means to me. After the unexpected death of my best friend (my brother) and other life changing events, I found "Find a Grave". It has given my life new meaning. I will be FOREVER GRATEFUL if I can ever do anything for you, just Ask..

Transfers
Mrs. Alverne,
I want to thank you for the transfers. I must tell you I feel guilty when someone has done all the hard work but I get to reap the benefits.

Only a few understand the sacrifice you have made to insure our relatives are remembered.

God Bless you. I am grateful.
