PLEASE--READ and FOLLOW the FaG guidelines before you copy to other genealogy websites. If I wanted MY family research or that of my clients on other sites---it would be there. DO NOT COPY ANY OF MY FAMILY PHOTOS.|
If you want a copy of a grave photo I posted of one of your relatives, please ask, your request may be granted. To those who copy without asking, PLEASE take into consideration the time involved in photographing cemeteries, most are two to three hour drives one way from home, the time to take the pictures and the editing the pictures to submit to Find a Grave.
My main reason for joining Find a Grave---to remember loved ones who have passed on and to save the old cemeteries.
A native of Daviess County KY, resident of Posey County IN.

|Carolyn Thomas Sorensen||Esquire Heady|
Thank you Paula. Actually I corrected the cemetary a long time ago. Would you please respond to my request for a photo of his gravemarker. Thanks again. Carolyn
P.S. - I descend from a James Heady born about 1825 in Indiana and last seen in Richland County, Illinois. Some records are pointing me to Sullivan County, Indiana so I am researching them to see if I can establish the connection. I am not a Smith so you don't have to transfer those pages to me. I am more interested in the Heady family as I think they are related. I was just researching the Smiths that were related by marriage to the Headys.
Thanks again for your work on findagrave as well.

|Helen McKeown||RE: Magan Cemetery|
I know someone should change the sign. The cemetery has limited funds. If you will look at Ohio County Cemetery book Vol V published 1994 you will see the named folks buried in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. There is only one cemetery, it is for the community of Magan. It is still Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. In conversation folks may say buried up at Magan (the community). Had the same thing happen at Centertown, even death certificates would say buried at Centertown, while the burial would be at Central Grove Cemetery, which is toward Centertown area. I think you will see bulk of the 200+ listings at PHBCC, the Magan listing has caused some folks with double markers to be in two different cemeteries. Hope this has given you the documentation you desired and thank you for working to make this better. At least three buried at the cemetery have been moved to other cemeteries, two prior to proper maintenance being done there. Helen

Are Magan Community Cemetery and Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery the same? If not, where can you find which one is the one where a relative is buried? The death certificate says Magan Cemetery.

Regarding "Elizabeth Minor": This is Elizabeth Lanman, daughter of George Lanman (Mem #76946771) & Mary Van Winkle (Mem #76946702), both of whom are also your pages. Elizabeth was born c.1820 in Perry County. She & William Minor were married 19 Oct 1844; they apparently had 3 or 4 children, but I'm not sure of their names. William married 2nd on 24 May 1853 to Scitha Lanman (Mem #76900394), sister of his 1st wife.
