Bio and Links
Bio Photo Born March 10, 1940 in Hogansville, Troup County, Georgia to Herman Hanson Mattingly and Mary Lee Oma Crowe and the second eldest of seven children to Herman and six to Mary.

My primary genealogical interests include Mattingly and Crow/e and connecting lines. I am descended from Cezar Mattingly but research all of the Mattingly name. From the Crow side, I am descended from James Crow (1713) and his second wife, Grace Denson.

If you see a memorial created by me and the individual concerned is of your immediate line, but not of mine, I am happy to transfer that memorial to you in accordance with Findagrave rules.

You found my great aunt Bessie's grave and included the obituaries. But in both her brother Bennett does not appear. This a mystery to me as he was my grandfather. Do you have further research. Or are these just copies.

Henry Ignatius BLAND
Hi - thanks so very much for posting photo and info. However - the death certificate really shows an "I" not a "J". Really appreciate the work you do and know you would prefer to place the small change for his true middle name. Henry was Brother-in-law to my Great Grand Uncle - Charles Edward Oelze.

Again - thanks for all your work! -Linda Oelze

RE: Ann Teresa Donahue Mattingly
William,

Thanks very much! I did a little digging on ancestory.com and found a link to billiongraves and a photo of Joseph E. Masson's gravestone came up. I have added it here along with the exact birthdates and death dates. You were right! April 23, 1928, the same day as his birthday. I also had a picture from ancestory and added it.

Thanks for your help!

Andrea

Terry Lee Board
Alecy Miller Memorial
Mr Mattingly, my name is Terry Lee Board. I am inquiring if you would transfer Alecy Miller's memorial, #84789577, to me. She is buried in John DeHaven Family Cemetary and I maintain most of them as I have Millers in my line. I added her pictures to her memorial. If you can not I completely understand and would only request you family link her to her father, John DeHaven, #126674545. My Find A Grave Member number is #48013311. Thank you Sir for your consideration.

RE: M. L. Abell and Mark Thomas
Thanks for the response. I have a family connection with the Abell/Spalding families.

After spending several days with these families I figured everyone in Marion Co., KY was related. I never saw so many instances where Spaldings married Abells or both married just about everyone else.

Of course, my connection is the one I can't seem to find - at least not all of them. My great aunt, Elnora Spalding married William Phelan. It has taken me years to find out where "Nora" was buried. I still have no real proof although I have her obit and it says she is buried in Calvary Cemetery in Macon Co.,IL.

Her parents were Clement and Alice Abell Spalding. Alice, I found in Holy Name of Mary (with thousands of others) and I believe Clement may be there as well.

What a massive family!!

Those who documented all these families are to commended.

RE: Robert Crowe
Thanks. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law are related to the Crowe's through the Williams side. Robert Thomas Williams is their great uncle.

Marion F. Williams
Marion F. Williams 64553161 was my uncle. He was married to my mom's sister. I put his parents on Find A Grave a while back. Could you please link him to them. They are: George F. Williams 117870642
and Norma Grimmeissen Williams 117870995.

If you don't mind transferring his memorial to me, it would be greatly appreciated. thanks a lot!
