|Jim Merritt||Shasta Co CA trip|
Just returned from a great trip to check on Shasta & Tehama Co graves. They are all still in good condition. Glass graves in both counties and Geo Meritt.
Re. George Meritt, the actual location of his grave is Tehama County. The town of Cottonwood is Shasta but the old ranch is just inside Tehama. Have added some pics to these memorials on Find A Grave. Also, George's grave will be added to the cemetery link within the website for Shasta Historical Society, same for Clara Glass.
Thanks Edward for making my family connections.

Thank you for the transfer. He isn't close kin of mine, but I think he needs looking into as he represents a link between the Reading Parkers and the Chelmsford/Groton Parkers.

Okay...all we saw were John and Hannah; we did not see either of the "William"s there. We walked the entire cemetery at least twice, so I don't think we missed it. Perhaps William's grave is buried, or missing.

Do you happen to know if John Longworth had a son by the name of William Longworth?
There was a photo request for William at Portland Cemetery but we were there today and didn't find any gravestone for William Longworth.
Excellent photos! Joel Lawrence was my one missing link back to the 1600's. No documentation makes you feel better than that of photos. All confirming what you have thus far assembled. I am so thankful you were able to discover his whereabouts for certain.
His 3rd wife died in Charlestown, N.H. and I will soon have a photo of her monument.
I do thank you again for your work.

|Helen ||Peter Parker b.1719|
Are you a descendant of the Peter Parker b.1719? I think he is the brother of my Ann Parker.
