Having recently retired from a career in aerospace, the genealogy bug was planted in my ear by my loving wife, Donna. We have been traveling across Texas and New Mexico visiting cemeteries of my ancestors. The picture is artwork in a Texas town along Highway 380.|
I have been overwhelmed with a wealth of information (thanks to the internet) on my lines of Tuttle, Means, Thurston, Lake, Brown, Gibson, Bryant, & Pattison. I have just begun!
Donna and I discovered the Aspermont Cemetery in Aspermont, Texas on the way back from New Mexico in October 2010. It struck us that much of the history there was lacking on Find A Grave, and we resolved to document the entire cemetery. A second trip in February 2011 convinced us it was a bit overwhelming; however, we planned a third trip October 2011 and spent three days, snapping away. All our photos are now posted and new pages created.
Please feel free to contact us through Find A Grave for corrections and additions.

I honestly dont know who Berry Spradley. I believe I previously told you Oree and RL Spradley were my grand parents and my dad, Jimmy Lee Spradley was their only child.

|Rachel Hardy||Jonas Barrett|
I suggested an edit for Jonas Barrett, he is a direct ancestor and if you would like to transfer him to me,I would be grateful. My info comes from town vital records. Thank you so much for posting his info especially since I had not known where he was buried.

|Vicki Hittson||Aspermont -- Hart Family|
Donald, if you prefer not to transfer your memorials of the Hart family, I would be also be happy to send you the family information to add to them. Our reunion is this weekend in Aspermont and I will share your work with the Hart family. We also have the families of Hittson, Millsap, Green and Loving at Aspermont. In addition, some really wonderful Find A Grave photographers helped me find the Moore Ranch Cemetery this week on the southern border of Stonewall County. For us, the Double Mountains and Stonewall County are sacred ground. Sending blessings to you and your family.

Just to let you know, I located the stone for Hannah Gibson, and there were four other Gibsons nearby, but I was not able to locate Ephraim Gibson. That does not necessarily mean that he was not there, but effort was made.

You may make me blush . I'd love to tell you I searched all day and into the night to find that particular stone, but...it had to be one of easiest ones I've found in a very long time!
Take care and glad I could help,

Thank you for your response. Sometimes our research can be frustrating; and then, from time to time everything fits together. What a life!! Again, thank you so much. Barbara
