The Church Family
Hi Linda,
I saw some e-mails between you and other people for the Church Family. My maiden name is Church. I am on and have had a difficult time working on and finding info for the Church side. I was hoping to possibly converse with you sometimes on the Church family tree. I did talk to(e-mail) someone once that beleives Waitstill S Church's Father is Thomas Montgomery-Born-22 Jun 1696 in Dublin,Ireland-Died-15 Jun 1758 in Pennsylvania. He said that Waitstill has a different last name because Waitstill was Thomas's first, and also illegetimate, son. This could explain the middle name of Montgomery for Waitstils son, Johnathon Montgomery Church. He said that Waitstill was also born in Ireland. He also said Waitstill's mothers name was Hannah Church but I have found nothing concrete to back that up at all. Thank you so much for your time and if you could let me know where you fit in the tree that would be great! Waitstill is my 6th great grandfather. Becky Church Bodell

If what I am reading is true on Find A Grave, I am from the Timothy, David, David, Hugh, Cornelia Jane line. My grandmother's mother was Cornelia. Do you want to share information?

Linda, I put photos on the memorials of all the names on front and back of the headstone. I couldn't find a memorial for Charles who died in 1819. Pat

Sabin photos
Thank you so much for the photos of Clarissa and Henry Wells Sabin's stones. They are my 3rd great grandparents and I am always thankful for the generosity of other genealogy students.

RE: Samuel Church in Salisbury
You are welcome, glad to be of help. I also added a photo of a marker from the corner of the family plot - it is for Esther Gardner, a servant in the family. Interesting.

RE: Church Scoville's in Salisbury Cemetery
You're quite welcome, my pleasure. The Church and Scoville monuments are impressive, as I am sure their lives were.
