You're welcome, and thank you for adding to Old South Cemetery. It's in my hometown.

I returned to Clifton - still no indication of a stone for one Loren Doxey. On the Web site - cemeteriesonly.com - Loren is not listed. Martha and David walk and record each grave that has a stone in every Wayne Co. Cemetery. They also return each year and update. Have you found Loren elsewhere - please let me know so we can resolve this request.

I am not related I came upon his poem, found it has been quoted in many genealogical venues as by an unknown author and that bothered me.I felt he should get credit for it. Thank you for asking. I just wanted it and him to be recognized.

You're very welcome -- I also posted photos for Mary Augusta, John A. and Julia S. who's stones were nearby Elnathan's.

Could you please share with me any info you have on Mary Moe? I am trying to document my ggg grandfather who everyone lists as married to Mary Moe. There is a gravestone for Mary wife of Henry Young, but where is the documentation that this Mary was Mary Moe? There are records for Mary Moe married to Elnathan Close and they had a son Elnathan but that Elnathan remarried in 1789 and had more children. Did she die or divorce? Are there two Mary Moe's? Aunt and niece? There are two Elnathan Clsoe's, father and son. I am so confused :-/ !!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated! firstname.lastname@example.org
I see there is a problem with finding the gravestone of Loren Doxey in Clifton City Ceme. The latest enumeration of the cemetery does not include him but the one before that does include him. I know a stone was bought and placed there so believe it must be hidden below the grass level. I will try and find a plat for the cemetery and see if I can locate the stone. I do know my wife and I searched the cemetery last year and could not find it. Would you be related in any way?
