RE: Nathaniel Gove
I wouldn't have picked up on Elizabeth if you hadn't pointed out that I had the photo posted to the son Nathaniel instead of the father. Yes, I agree that Nathaniel's burial place and his wife Elizabeth need to be changed. Seeing you own the memorial for Nathaniel & Elizabeth at the Plains Cemetery you can make the necessary changes. Do you know how to do that?

RE: Nathaniel Gove
Randall,
My thought is that the author of the book may have seen the stone and misread it. I had cleaned it up a little before taking the photo. I've looked at it blown up and the date is Jan. 14, 1833 and it looks like to me her age is listed as 76 which would put her near 1756, her birth. I've downloaded her birth, death and marriage records and would be glad to forward to you if you don't have them. The book did say she died there and it only makes sense that she would be buried there next to Nathaniel. I can't remember the exact location of her stone but I do have a photo showing many of the Gove stones including a partial glimpse of Nathaniel's. I believe Elizabeth's was laying flat on the ground and partially covered up. Email me at deflorio3@comcast.net if you'd like me to send records and photos.

RE: Nathaniel Gove
Randall,
It appears that you have the incorrect Elizabeth Sanborn linked to Nathaniel Gove (1755-1829). The Elizabeth Sanborn that was his wife is buried in the Old City Cemetery as well and there is a memorial for her (115729039) for which I took a photo. You may want to change that and ask the person who created her memorial to link her to her husband, Nathaniel. I will look through the photos I have to see if by any chance I have the son, Nathaniel's gravestone photo. I did take a photo of who I believe is his wife Mary Jones Gove's stone (only shows M G). Records do show that Nathaniel the son should be buried there also.

RE: Nathaniel Gove
Randall,
On further inspection of the photo of Nathaniel Gove that I posted his actual year of death was 1829 which matches up with the father of Nathaniel Gove but I see that you show that he is buried in the Plains Cemetery in Kingston, NH. I'd be glad to post the picture to the correct memorial but it looks like he should moved to the Old City Cemetery in Strafford, VT. Please advise. I don't believe I have an other photos of a Nathaniel Gove. There were a lot of stones that could not be read. I've removed the photo from Nathaniel Gove who died in 1857.
