If you would like to have information added to a memorial, please follow the Find A Grave procedure using the Edit tab on that memorial and I will gladly add the info. Below is the Find A Grave transfer process. Please be aware that any memorial can have info added by using the EDIT tab on the memorial so a transfer is not necessary.

***Determine if you really need the memorial transferred to you for management. You can add photos and suggest corrections without having to request management. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request. With hundreds of thousands of contributors, we have many overlapping family trees and it would be impossible for all contributors to manage their entire tree.

***Transfer requests will be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

***Keep in mind that the original contributor may also be related to the memorial and may not make the transfer. Bulk surname requests must not be made.

***"Suggest a correction" feature may also be used to submit corrections, an original biography, and family links to memorials that do not fall under the above definition. (Be sure to include the memorial ID#s for the family links and how they are related, father, mother or spouse. The original contributor will make any corrections and add any additional information you have for that memorial, such as links to parents and spouses, provided the information is accurate.

***The new EDIT system has generated a HUGE amount of work and caused correct info to be changed to incorrect info. PLEASE use the EDIT tab to offer your contributions but use the "other" option so the memorials will have confirmed and documented info that has been researched. Even if it is a date, location ,etc. change. use the "OTHER" option to send your info.
This new system has made info posted questionable where before you could rely on the research completed for each memorial.

If you would like the higher resolution photo of a headstone I have posted, please leave a public message.

RE: New Friendship Cemetery Headstone photos
You're welcome! My sister (lives in IL) & I were in the area looking for Pittsenbarger ancestors in New Friendship & another 6 cemeteries in the area! I decided while I was there taking my pictures to see if I could find any of the photo requests as I so appreciate it when other's post pictures I want! I'm sorry I didn't find the other 3 (I think there were 3 more from you on the list) but ran out of time as had 2 more cemeteries that day to go to (one in the middle of a field!). We grew up in St. Joseph, MO & go back once in awhile to see what more we can find!

RE: James Miller Isadora Cemetery
I think it's 67 years. The 2 in Dec.2 has a rounded top.

RE: W. Augustus Roudebush
There are still so many people without memorials in Isadora. Those stones go way back, and sometimes I get home and can't read what they say good enough to make a memorial. Thanks for being my partner in all this Worth County Cemeteries. And for caching my mistakes. Couldn't do it without you!

RE: Russell Lowell Adams
Hi LP. Sorry, just got back from vacation and catching up. Thanks. I'll remove the note and leave a blank flower instead. Can you send me the memorial # so I can know that it is the right one?

No, not a relative...just indexing some original records and, when I have time, I try to see if I can provide additional info if a FG memorial exists.

Thanks again.

I couldn't find Joseph's gravestone but I saw one for his wife May. Would you like the picture of her gravestone?

Ira Ragan
You requested a photo of the Ira Ragan marker at Middlepoint Cemetery in Mercer Co. Mo. I could not find his marker. I did find a marker with the same name and dates in Scott Co, Ia.
