I am a 22 year old College student living in Warrensburg, Missouri. I have ancestors in cemetery's all throughout Ray County, MO and am trying to fullfill all photo requests for these cemeteries. I have been working on my family history since i have cleaned out my grandmother's house last year and discovered she had kept tract of nearly every person in my family so I have continued where she had left off so many years ago. Ancestry.com and this website have provided tons of help with my work. My mother's side is mostly resided in Ray County since the 1800's (Ex: Lentz, Seward, Weary, and Chenault.) Also, includes Robertson, Jordan, and Harding. But, my father's side is located in many different areas. Example: Rogers from Lebanon, MO and Dyess, AR;and Garrett and Roberts from Detroit, AL. Also, searching for Scott, Davis, and Stansberry in Ashe/Watauga, North Carolina.|
I look up obituaries in old newspapers for all my relatives at the Ray County Museum and post them on here and would be willing to look up an obituary for someone who has a relative from the area.
I have added many memorials for people I am not related to, (most of whom are in Higginsville cemeteries) and would be willing to transfer them if there's someone out there who has more information on them. I don't care if you're an immediate relative or even a relative at all, as long as you have information to add. Send me links if you have the links to someone's family. Welcome any corrections. If you don't include your # in a transfer request, it won't happen.

Hey Jarodd. Just giving you a heads up on the mispelling here. Keep up the good work
|Dolores Owen||McLallen / Weary|
I have a connection to you. My dad's family was McLallen. His mother (Naoma Frances McLallen) had a scrapbook of about 200 newspaper clippings on family. There are several for the Weary family. If you are interest, email me and I can share them with you!

Would you be so kind as to transfer William to me? He is my GGG Uncle and his # is 87209309. My # is 47400882. Thank you so much for all you do.
|Sheryl Langdon||RE: Margaret Edgar Clark|
Her father (my great-great grandfather)'s name was Hezekiah Edgar, but he went by the nickname "Kiah." My mother (who is still living) who kew him, told me.
|Marilyn||Prairie Church Cemetery|
Thank you for giving the information on both the Prairie Church Cemetery & Mound Prairie Cemetery. Knew of Mound Prairie as I'm suppose to have relatives there but had no idea about Prairie Church Cemetery and I've lived in Higginsville off and on for over 25 years. Thanks again for your due diligence.

You have a tombstone photo of Ivren on your ancestory tree with his wife Nancy. Will you please remove it as it has her birthdate on it and she is still living. She is my sister. Thanks

Jarodd, I meant Rebecca Stansberry, not Oliver. Thanks again. Mike

Hello and thanks for the message you left for us. I have a photo I'd like to send you but I can't do it from here at the library. I have no way to scan it here. It is a photo from around 1940 of Rebecca, her brother John Granville Norris and their sister Sarah Ann Norris Swift, who is my great grandmother. There is another brother, George, but he had died before the photo was taken.I'd be glad to mail a 4X6 copy to you. My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org
Just send your address and I'll mail you the photo. I swear no one else will see your address and it will only be used for the photo. Thanks again for your interest. Take care and God bless.
Mike and Rebecca Pardue
