RE: John Green, Dearborn Community Cemetery
Dear Mr. Bill Foster,
According to the letters of John Green, he had (at least) 4 children with Mary: Maria (d)(born 15/6/1893), Albert (s) (born 23/2/1895), Josia (d) (born ??/9/1896), name unknown (s) (born 1/6/1901). As you may appreciate , I can email scans of the original letters to you. In order to find out if this John Green is the brother of mine great grandfather. Yours sincerely.

RE: John Green, Dearborn Community Cemetery
Dear Mr. John Green,
Nice to hear of you. I know from the census of 1910. However, according to the census of 1895 John Green was born in Holland. He has lived in several places in Iowa (1890-1892). These addresses are known to us through his letters. We also know that he married Maria Vogl, there parents were from Germany.

I hope to hear soon of you.
Yours sincerely.

John Green, Dearborn Community Cemetery
Dear Sir Bill Foster, I live in the Netherlands.

First I want to thank you very much for sharing the photo of the tombstone of John Green and his wife Mary Vogel Green - Cornett (Dearborn Community Cemetery) on the internet. I am almost certain that it is the tombstone of the brother of my great-grandfather.

John Green immigrated to the States in 1890. Our family in the Netherlands has letters writen by John Green for the period of 1890-1901. In 1901 he stopped writing to his family. My family asks for more than a hundred years wondering what happened to John Green. My aunt und uncle are in the nineties and would still like to know that the family of John Green is found and get answer to their question 'What happened to him?'

I want to ask whether you can put me in touch with the family of John Green in the States or advise me in order to achieve this.
I hope to hear soon of you.

Yours sincerely.

Kirkpatrick Cemetery
Hello Bill,Can you tell me where the Kirkpatrick Cemetery is located? And if you think I might have access to it or ask permission to access property, for a photo request I'm trying to fulfill for a "Find A Grave" member. I see where you have photographed a few of the memorial stones there.I have looked all over the net and not found a bit of info.

Thank you, Richard

Brenda Vestal Baker
Ferril Cemetery, Faucett, MO
Hi Bill, my great grandmother was Sarah Ferril Vestal, John Ferril's (1831-1865) daughter. My Uncle Gary has been to the cemetery and we were wondering if you know if there is a connection between the Campbells and Stocktons who are also buried in the Ferril cemetery? Thanks so much!

Andrew Chesnut
I am wondering where you obtained the info that linked Andrew Chesnut(1820)and Sarah Woodhouse to his father Abraham Chesnut (b 1782)and Esther Evans. It can't be just word of mouth, I need a hard copy of something. Thanks for all the work you do!!! It is really appreciated
