I am slowly working on photographing Ascension Cemetery because it is closest to my home. I am not related to most of those buried there. I consider it my contribution to the find-a-grave website as a return favor for those who have photographed entire cemeteries far away, greatly helping my own personal family research.|
I've been side-tracked lately with photographing Loma Vista in Fullerton. Done with photographing the Northeast, Cypress, East and Grandview Lawns in the older part of the cemetery. Currently working on the Rose Lawn. Mostly what I consider "mass production" by sweeping the stones, taking a picture and posting memorials just to get the names out there.

|Chuck/Karen Brackett||RE: Loma Vista|
William Henry Bubach is in the Grandview Lawn on the south side right behind the Old Office site. If there is a head stone, it looks like it might be buried under dirt. Next time I'm over there will check with them again to make sure that is correct.
Yes, I have done almost all of the baby area in Evergreen. I think there might be a few rows that I have not taken pictures of.
|Melvin L. Halterman||MEMORIAL TRANSFER|
Thanx for the transfer of the Jennie Florence Hauver Bachtell memorial.
Asking permission to use your photos on m ancestry.com family tree. I would give credit to you for the photos. Thank you so much for adding photos and info to the memorials. I appreciate the hours that volunteers put into connecting the families.
Thanks again, Debbie # 47064450
|Barbara McCully||Raymond McPheeters|
Thanks so much for linking him to his Parents. John McPheeters was my GGrandmothers brother.
Hi, was out to Loma Vista today to get a picture of Amelia Ryman for you and find that you have a picture for the Ryman's now. #108404762. On the other is stone that only says Mother, Father. Will post that picture for you on Amelia.

lesa it's been a long time since I talked to you but I want to let you know I am still trying to clean up your relatives cemetery here in Smithburg .It's been a daunting task but late last year I did find some of the stephy's that are buried. they lie pretty much in the far right corner. I also found in some records I believe the Bachtell's your related to lived about several hundred yards away by a hill. hopefully here soon I can send picture's of the area.
|NICOLE AREBALO||Thank you|
I just wanted to thank you for the contributions you have made with the photos and for suggesting family members be linked. I just found my great grandmother Bernarda Reyes' grave in the Yorba Cemetery. It was great to finally come across detailed information.
|John B. Sellers||Find A Grave Update|
Very upset about the upgrade to include the Ancestry search at the bottom of each memorial. After all we are doing them a favor in providing the information that they need. The upgrade is dysfunction in the way that I can't back out and get locked into the memorial site.
|Sarah Barnes||James Jeans|
Hello, Lesa --
James Jeans (son of William Jeans/Winnifred Dulin) was married to Agnes McDannold. He was born 08 Dec 1799 and died 18 May 1883 (source: Dorothy Panzer book, Jeans Family History).
The gravestone you show on your FindAGrave page and the data typed there says:
Born 08 Dec 1803
Died: 18 May 1885
I think the gravestone and data you posted belong to a different James Jeans
|Jim Gray||Your work . . .|
Thank you so much for the work you perform. You brought tears to my eyes, and a smile to my lips. Your photographs of William C. Gray, Albina Gray, and their daughter-in-law, Effie Gray.
Tears are flowing at this very moment. Such wonderful people, I loved Effie.
Thanks, Jim Gray
