I was raised in Bradford Co., PA on a farm. My interest in genealogy was sparked by my lack of grandparents on my father's side, since he was adopted. So I traced my Rockwell side back to the Rev. War. I like historical research, so what better place to focus my interest on - cemeteries. My wife's ancestors are from Sullivan Co., PA so my main focus is on Bradford & Sullivan Counties in Pennsylvania. I am on the findagrave.com volunteer photographer e-mail list so will take a photo for you when requested.|
You have my permission to use any picture taken by me for personal uses. It takes much time and effort to locate, process, and post these images I have posted, so I expect and appreciate the courtesy of citing your source!
If any of the memorials I have created need updates, please contact me. If any are a relative of yours and you want to manage them, let me know and I will transfer them. Please use the edit tab and SAC to ask for a transfer or update.

Thank you for posting a marker photo for this baby, and for letting me know the correct dates.
As to the location - is it Plot S rather than Section S ? or Section S, Plot S ?
Thanks so much!

|David Klees||Jacob Klees Brown (1847-1919)|
I thank you very much for your work on findagrave. While I have been doing genealogy for 45 years (and my 91 year old father was doing it as a teenager before World War II), we did not start putting this Brown family together until the 1970s. I am overjoyed to see that photograph of Jacob K. Brown's tombstone. I have never found a Pennsylvania death certificate for Jacob or his wife Margaret. This is what I have on them and their children.
JACOB K. BROWN b. April 6, 1847 d. 1919
m. MARGARET HERMAN b. April 1866, Germany Margaret died apparently 1908-1910
Jacob buried Tioga Point Cemetery, Sayre, PA
(1) LENA C. BROWN b. July 1885 d. late 1920s(?)
m. _______ _______
lived Endicott/Johnson City, NY, area
(2) SARAH B. BROWN b. August 1887
no further information
(3) NELLIE E. BROWN b. Nov. 13, 1889, Monroeton
m. THEODORE JANKOWSKI
(4) MOLLIE MAY BROWN b. January 1891
m. JOHN R. GEISS
(5) DORA E. BROWN b. October 3, 1898
m. GEORGE W. THOMAS
I can confirm with 100% certainty that Ellen M. Thomas Hawke (1915-1957, findagrave #141549164) is the granddaughter of Jacob K. Brown (1847-1919).
I will revise my comments on Jacob K. Brown's biography as soon as I can.
Thank you very much,
David L. Klees
Under the name Thayer George Stephens it states:
Was married to Ella Marie Grabb (b. April 04, 1873, d. December 21, 1923) at the time of Effie's birth.
Ella Marie Grabb did not die at the time of Effie's birth. Effie was born September 17, 1901. Her mother, Ella died December 21, 1923 of Cancer of the breast, Effie would've been 22 years of age at the time of her mothers death.
Effie is my grandmother. I have the death certificate of Ella Grabb.
Thank you for all you do, your hard work and ambition is commendable for sure.

|Anne Gardner||Benjamin and Bathsheba Taylor|
You have done a marvelous job of documenting my Taylor family. It has been very helpful as I try to read my great grandfather's Civil War diaries.
I have long wondered if there is a family connection between the Rockwells and the Taylors. Benjamin and Simeon were both from the same area of CT.
|weezysmith||Reuben and Louisa Hickok|
I am wondering if you information that Reuben and Louisa Hickok in findagrave Memorial #54079362 were husband and wife.
Reuben did have a sister Louisa and I don't know if either of them married.
There was a younger Reuben who was the son of David Hickok, their brother.
Thank you for your photos from Cadis Cemetery.

I just noticed an error and wanted to send you the correction.
Mary Jane Sexton (#43970262) is the daughter of Jennett Jillson Sexton (#43970834) (first wife of Jabez Emerson Sexton) and not Phebe Sexton (#43970568) (his second wife).
Happy 2015 and thanks for all of your contributions on here. :)
