|Maurice Saylor||Ward H. Cowan...|
You maintain the page for Ward H. Cowan. I saw from your beautiful Genealogy Web Site that you are related through his wife, Jeannette Ednie Cowan.
I am trying to find our more information on Ward Hummer Cowan. At your website you list information from the 1910 census that seems to refer to the same Ward Cowan in the 1900 census that shows Ward iving with my double great grandparents and is listed as "adopted" with "son" added in a latter hand. I wonder if perhaps he was merely living with the Cowans as my father's mother was close to her uncles but never mentioned Ward. On the other hand, one would think he must be adopted as he took their last name. I am going under the assumption that his birth surname was Hummer, and he was born in N.Y. or PA of parents from N.Y. (as is stated in the 1940 census.)
Do you have any information that can shed light on this mystery?
Maurice Saylor (Great-grand son of Jean Burnett Cowan)

You posted a death date for Peter as 1880. If you look at the 1900 census for William you will find his father Peter listed - https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-266-11613-7119-56?cc=1325221

Karen - Edna Jane Deemer and her sister Esther Deemer were moved to Bethel Lutheran Church Cemetery, Bethel Twp, Armstrong Co, PA. Their parents and my grandparents, Campbell and Lizzie Deemer, did this. They are buried there in our family plot.

Thank you for the quick transfer!
I see spell check changed the name McCreary to McCready. I was referring to McCreary. Sorry
Hello, I was wondering why you don't have George and Sarah Macready's birth and death date on their memorial. Sarah's maiden name was Kline. Are you able to link the husband and wife together? They are family that I am researching. Thank you, Gwen
