|Born and grew up in Hillsdale PA. Retired USN with 20 years. I love photography so please don't mind me if I add pictures for a "more scenic" or "more complete" picture of headstones / cemeteries.|
If all you have done is create a memorial and did no research to find out who the person was, please don't get upset if I have and ask you to edit a memorial. Preserving and documenting the deceased so they are not forgotten is what I enjoy doing.
** Remember that a LOT of the online databases prior to 2000 are NOT always correct and until you've WALKED the cemetery and have the picture to prove it - don't trust what you read from someone that hasn't.
Feel free to borrow pictures, I only ask that you give credit where it's due. If anyone would like possession of a memorial, I will be more than glad to hand them over - provided you are related!

|Janet Lowry||Margaret Hosie-Leslie|
Jan A, Thank you so kindly for the photos of Margaret Hosie-Leslie and responding to my inquiry. There should be several "Leslie's" at Mount Hermon Cemetery since this is where the Leslie's settled from Scotland. Very grateful and thank you again - Janet Sullivan-Lowry, Gulfport, FL USA

Luella, Wendell and Kenneth are siblings. All three lived with their parents. Luella is alive and in the family home in Starford. Luella and Wendell never married. Kenneth married young but separated shortly after. Their youngest sibling is Margaret Joyce Mogle. My mother. My father, Richard Ross Mogle, passed 29 years and is in Rowley Cemetery.

|Penny D.||RE: Old Fairview Cemetery|
I wish I did have a layout of Old Fairview. After having visited the cemetery last September (2011), I had planned to try to locate one before we visit PA again.
I checked at the Indiana Historical Society and they didn't have anything in their files. Rairigh Funeral Home has been around a long time and that name pops up in a lot of old obituaries. I would certainly check with them. I was going to stop there but it was raining the two times we passed it and I didn't get by that way again.
One more thought. The organization or individuals who put flags on the veterans' gravesites each year must have some sort of site/plot plan to work from.
Bless your heart for your efforts. I am glad to hear from you and so sorry I am of no help. You have a lot of hard work ahead of you. When we finally found the cemetery, I was both disheartened and elated, as well. It is a peaceful place and deserves to be cared for.
Good luck, I'm looking forward to visiting there again.
