I want to thank everyone that has helped me and for all the kindness, hard work and effort they have gone to making memorials on FAG. Am always worried I missed thanking someone for their work and their help, so this is THANK YOU TO ALL for the photos, linking updates and any transfers. IT IS ALL VERY APPRECIATED.
I know that I have made so many link edits and requests to updates that in my email I am not able to keep up with all of the thank yous and am truly sorry for that.
I have been researching my family tree for almost 20 yrs now. Direct line and I always seem to chase aunts, uncles, cousins and everyone I can find. It tells you a lot about the people and their life, which is the best part for me.
Some of my main family names are....
Paternal side: Abbott, Pitman, Ritchie, Wilson, Cox, Gann, Yates, Dodd, Hall, Clark, Snead, Newland, McCauley, Bledsoe, Belcher
Maternal side: Phelps, Stewart, Hassler, Jett, Banson, Pointer, Aud, Tate, Wheeler, Pratt Vandervort, Halstead, James, Reed, Hornaday, Baily, Short, Pike, Richardson, Overman
Husbands side: Shaw, Roberts, Finnel, Terhune, Wheeler, Morris
Tons more surnames from marriages of siblings, aunts, uncles and cousins. My immediate family started in Missouri from north to mid, south and east parts of the state reached into Kansas in Atchison and Miami counties just to name a few then kept growing! I have over 40,000 people in my tree that covers the whole USA and other countries, some back to the 1500 and 1600's.
Has been an exciting journey and learning experience for me and my family. I love it and wish you all the best in your journey. Thank you.

Might you have any info regarding the air corps service of Lt. Charles Pittman, 9th Bomb Squadron?
I'm compiling a data base and have assembled a website to honor the men of the 7th bomb group, which served in India-Burman during WW2. I have little info regarding Lt. Pittman, and would much like to gather more, especially photos and pertinent documents. I'd appreciate anything info that you can provide.

It's my pleasure
The age at death on the stone is 68 years, not 63, which is why the birthdate is listed as it is.

Hi just happened to be visiting at Knowlton Cemetery yesterday. Sorry to say it is in bad
shape, took all the photos that I could. I have family and extended family there. Don't live nearby to help fix it. Glad I could help. DR

The other memorial was entered earlier than mine so I can't really speak to the information they posted. I do know from my records that this young man was the son of Frederick & Mary Neibch, but as yet I can't find a Find A Grave memorial for either of them. I will happily link the family members once I do though :) If you know where they are buried or know of other family members of young John it would be great to group them all together. Yet another Find A Grave volunteer kindly transcribed the newspaper announcement of his passing. This child is getting loved on, isn't he ?

Not following this, John is the son of Johannes. Does either have another memorial listed somewhere?

You are welcome for the photo and thanks for the welcome to Find A Grave. This was my first attempt at it and I am glad they all turned out. And I added the photo to her husbands page as well. Cindy
