I am slowly working on photographing Ascension Cemetery because it is closest to my home. I am not related to most of those buried there. I consider it my contribution to the find-a-grave website as a return favor for those who have photographed entire cemeteries far away, greatly helping my own personal family research.|
I've been side-tracked lately with photographing Loma Vista in Fullerton. Done with photographing the Northeast, Cypress, East, Rose and Grandview Lawns in the older part of the cemetery. Currently working on the Evergreen Lawn. Mostly what I consider "mass production" by sweeping the stones, taking a picture and posting memorials just to get the names out there.

Hello my name is Susan Phillips. Lillian is my great aunt. If you don't mind can you link her with her parents. SJ Behmer # 98484057 and Victoria Neff Behmer # 107054139 Thank You so much Love the photo on her memorial.
At Holy Cross. I grabbed this one as I noticed it was your request. It was the oldest on the list. It took me 20mins to find it as it was in an area where the numbers broke up for an area of babies. I cleaned it as best I could. James

Thanks so much
Hi Lesa, are you related to Loren Tillford Wood? I'm looking for death information on his brother Everett Holman Wood.

The Boyles were on my mind...I played with the spelling of their last name and found them at 12:30 this morning. Photos have been taken and will post this evening. I even tried to find you on the website but was unsuccessful (lesapfrommer) now I know the root of my problem. So glad that you resubmitted your request. I will also post Thomas and Harriet's marker.
P.S. I have informed cemetery staff to correct the spelling error.

I have searched the database for the Boyles and was unable to find them. Cemetery staff has also verified that neither John nor Margaret are buried at Mountain View in Altadena. However, I did find their son, Thomas Dickey Boyles buried in the Mountain Vineyard Lot. If you want his photo please create a page and I will attach the photo.

You are welcome.

Lesa, was there today and she is in the Cypress Lawn and the Head Stone is unreadable. The Lot is 623 Grave 2.
She is right next to James Newton. Also I believe her husband is next to her and again, the stone also unreadable. The husband name in 1910 and 1920 census shows Daniel R. Newton.
I will post the pictures if you would like.
