Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been into genealogy for some 50 years and have never lost interest in helping myself and others find their roots. I find it a huge mystery game with many surprising discoveries.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE... WHEN SENDING ME A MESSAGE ABOUT A SPECIFIC INDIVIDUAL, KINDLY INCLUDE THE MEMORIAL NUMBER. I OVERSEE TOO MANY MEMORIALS FOR THIS OLD MIND TO REMEMBER. THANKS.

TRANSFER REQUESTS: Please request if you are really a relative and will do something constructive with the memorial. If you are just a close friend, etc., the same goes for you. I will never refuse a request for valid reasons.

CORRECTIONS: additions, & family links when asked but no promises if you just send me an email instead of using the edit link. Use the Edit tab at the top right of memorial, then the Suggest A Correction option. Now we have the auto edit request and permission ability so that makes it easier. You can upload your pictures directly to the memorials, but PLEASE take pride on what you enter. Photos should be carefully composed and submitted with the highest resolution that FAG will accept.

I believe everyone prefers a typed Bio to be entered through the Bio button on the memorial page. If at all possible please transcribe the newspaper Bio and send it through the Edit button rather than attaching a photo of said Bio. I will gladly enter it in the proper location on the memorial.

IF YOU WANT TO ADD INFO TO MEMORIALS OF MEMBERS OF MY OR MY WIFE'S FAMILY, I MAY ASK YOUR SOURCE OF THAT INFO.

RE: Isabella Calhoun
I am indeed descended from Isabella Calhoun Bonham through her daughter Anna. Through her daughter Lucy Ann Jeffries Dailey, through her daughter Hester Ann Dailey Belt, through her daughter Bertha Anna Belt Smith, through her daughter Cora Elizabeth Smith WIlliams, my grandmother. Unfortunately, I have not located a burial location for Isabella. How are we related?

RE: John Shepard
Thank you for this kind gesture. I know having correct information is so very important and so much of the genealogy facts I have found of my dear family is skewed.....as is so much for other families. Research and documentation is relevant to keeping history accurate. Judi

RE: Fredrick Donald Mark
Yeah, I knew that you didn't put that information, because I had looked at it before you were maintaining it. Oh well it is correct now. We are indeed cousins of some sort. Thanks

RE: John Paul Mark photo
Your photo has been added. Sorry I usually take the spouses photo also even if not requested but I missed this one. My phone did a gps marking in the plot section on the grave so in the future you can use google maps if you or any of your family would like to find the grave there. Thanks :)

William and Eunice Bonham
William's wife was a second cousin of my great-grandfather and Eunice was a third cousin of my paternal grandmother. I will send some brief Bios your way eventually.

RE: L. L. Powers
Approve the links I submitted on his memorial. You will see Lawrence and Nettie as his parents. I researched it.

Thanks

Samuel S Woodward
Is also my 3rd gr grandfather - his son, Samuel M and his son Joe Woodward. One of Joe's daughters is my grandmother - Helen Katharine Woodward Greene.

A cousin, Ada "Marian" Gardner Ryger, Joe's great niece, my 1st cousin once removed, has/ had documentation of births through to Samuel S., since he is/was our direct grandfather.

I only have a copy -

I would like to know how you have the information Samuel was adopted by Wm and Elisabeth?

This link shows a very detailed list of births and deaths, also adoptions, and Samuel is not listed

I have done some pretty deep investigation of the family. I am a direct descendant of Samuel S.

This web site was created and has been maintained by family members.
