I love genealogy!I am fascinated with everything family history related, even people I'm not related to. I love searching cemeteries for ancestors, not just mine but others as well. I think Find A Grave website is amazing! (I wish I would have thought it up.)I consider myself an intermediate researcher spending several hours each day. This is my passion.
Although MOST of my memorial pages are family related I would be glad to turn memorial pages that are not so closely related to me over to current direct descendents. Please feel free to send me corrections or additions to my pages.
Questions On the memorial of Gaylen F. Olsen # 37684535 in the picture is he the father or the son? Also may I use this picture in my family history information online and in print. Of course, I would give you credit whenever it is used.
RE: Hamilton Gordon That is a really good question. I believe the two share the niche itself. You might want to call the cemetery office for more information. They are very helpful. The toll-free number is 800.204.3131 - ask for the records office for Glendale.
Kelly/Swan American Fork Cemetery Would like permission to use tombstone photos in my ancestry.com file....if allowed, how would you like photo credit given? There may be other photos I would like to use, do you want me to ask every time? Thank you so much!
Lucile James Shewell This is my great grandmother and I sadly know hardly anything about her. Thank you for posting the picture. My grandmother, Lucile's daughter, is still living and I am trying to gather stories, especially of Lucile's younger days to interest Bonnie's youngest great grandchildren in family history. Could you point me to where I might be able to find more information?
Hunter family names I also am a genealogist and sometimes come across other trees unrelated to mine and tack the old photos to find their families. I have 18 cabinet photos from the Hunter linage out of Scotland. A David Simpson Hunter m Janet Cook. I am trying to locate which Steve Hunter photo I have and how to track some family member who can care for the old photos. In looking at Find A Grave Adam Patterson Hunter b Scotland 16 Aug 1818 his photo has a strong resemblance to the photo of Steve Hunter that I have. I know these photos were from a family line of David Simpson Hunter who m Janet Cook, also born Scotland. I am thinking that a large family of Hunter's migrated into Utah from Scotland and England and are related but want to be sure before I post this photo of Steve to #90002502. Any help if you know Hunter history would be appreciated. Thanks, Georgie Ann Hankins Waddell
