I was born in Utah.|
I served in the US Navy for 4 years as a Sonarman during the Vietnam War.
I worked civil service for the Air Force, retiring after 42 years.
I work part time for Napa Auto Parts.
I love to do Genealogy research, which has brought me to Find A Grave. I like to help out in my spare time, and give something back.
Besides "Ross", my extended family include the names of Ferry, McCracken, Cowger, Bovell, Stafford, Stokesberry, and Drenner on my father's side. Miller, Rees, Saunders, Vaughn, Hill, Merrel/Merrill, Phillips, and Williams on my mother's side to name a few.
For all requests for transfers, corrections, and additions please use the edit tab on the memorial.
Thank you, Richard
My teacher for kindergarten and first grade

While I appreciate the information provided by the death certificate that you posted on this memorial, Find-a-grave guidelines suggests that death certificates not be posted on memorials. I don't really like the looks of them on memorials; however, I'm more than willing to post a link to them. Would you be willing to take the death certificate off the memorial? I've given you credit for the information in the bio section.
Thank you for your consideration.

|Cindy H||RE: Isolin Rupp|
I called Melba Searles in Oregon.
Ada & her first husband Francis Searles were her grandparents. Her dad was Ward Searles. He was the only child in this marraige.
Then Ada remarried William Rupp & had 3 children, Katheryn, Claude, & Helen.
This is the first I have seen this Isolin Rupp. I checked my other family trees I share with folks from ancestry.com & not a one had her listed. You could call the Maxwell cemetery at 515-387-8655 & see what they know.
Keep me posted, I would like to know what you find out.

Are you related to them? I did your edit for Ada.
I was not aware that they had a daughter Isolin.
Ada was my great grandpa's sister.Any information you can give me on the family would be great.

Thanks for the Kudo's. Yeah...I'm just a Gravin Fool.
Thank you for making the connections for Rodney Waite. I tried to find his other son so I could connect him, but was unable to.

|Richard K Thompson||Mary McCracken Ferry edit|
I saw your edit request for my memorial for Mary McCracken Ferry to add in "M." for the middle initial. Are you sure that the "M." you want added is for a middle name and not in reference to her maiden name "McCracken" ? Her inscription doesn't have a middle initial, but often when there is it is really for the maiden name and not for a middle name. If you really do think that she had a middle name that started with "M", I'll be glad to accept your edit, but just wanting to make sure that this edit change is correct.
