May I add a death certificate to a person's memorial page?
Death certificates may be added via the "Add a photo" button on the memorial page. Please select the option for "Other" in the "Type of photo:" to be added, as it is not a Grave, Person or Family photograph. NOTE: Death certificates do not necessarily contain completely accurate information about the deceased. There are often errors regarding the final burial location (as well as other data). [Top]

I feel the documents WE find on the internet are placed there to help us find our heritage. Anything that can tell us who we were/where we came from I feel is HISTORY that belongs to all of us and an honor to share.. not a desecration.

WELL, guess this tells me one thing, where I get my VERY BLAND taste buds

BUT, IF my dna ONLY traces the maternal lineage, bull pucky… this report is a LIE!!!!!!!!

It doesn't even tell me who my Mom/Dad were but on one page it did say,
"my furthest ancestors were John Alden/Priscilla"
(I could not find the SOURCES to prove this) but my ancestors that are of the same year and same place would be the Hathaways... on my Mom's side....

IF you can read it plz... let me in on the secret...

re: George W Manis Memorial# 946407
Hi, you left some very informative information in the flowers comment section. Just wanted to let you know even though it's imported from: US Veteran's Affairs you can still use the edit button and in "Suggest any other correction or addition" area ask the information be added in the bio. I do it all the time.

PVT Albert Filmore Manis
Carole, Thank you for what you do on F*A*G. This is an unbelievable tool. The NEW East Tennessee Veteran Cemetery is only about 3 years old. My wife and I am going to be interred there SO, we have worked by going every two weeks or so to take photos and document.

This Manis, most certainly kin of mine with roots in Scott County Virginia is nowhere to be found in this growing cemetery.

I am curious what lead you to place him in this NEW cemetery, where I would think he was interred nearly a 100 years ago??

COULD it be he is in the East Tennessee Cemetery in Blountville here:

I have seen this confused on several occasions.

Many thanks,
Maryville, TN

memorial# 120594672.
You submitted a photo request for memorial# 120594672.
The facility management has no record of a Dorothy Greer being laid to rest at this facility.

Could you provide more information if you believe this to be an error? I am at this facility often, and can easily take pictures. I've checked the markers on either side of Mr. William Greer, and none of them are Greer (or Brockway)

The Cemetery has no record of any Brockway, nor any Greer other than William.

PVT John M Greer
Dear Ms. Puntenney:

I am trying to help a friend find out if she is related to PVT John M Greer, 8th Virginia Infantry, who died at Point Lookout 14 September 1864. His pages on Findagrave showed your message as a cousin. We have absolutely nothing on him about any of his family members or ancestry. You are the first relative either of us has seen anywhere. If you could enlighten us on your family tree and how you are related to PVT Greer, we would be thrilled and grateful. You may even find a new cousin in my friend Ms. Greer. My email address is:

Thanks so much for getting PVT Greer's info out there.

Seth also my 5G grandfather
Seth > George > Catherine > William > Fannie > Bessie > Joyce > Me.

I am confused by the Rev. Title tho, and the city name in MO. There seems to be no association from the man in Hawkins Co to either.

How neat to find a relative:)
